Below we take an in-depth look at Activeman Focus to see whether it can aid significant weight loss by increasing thermogenesis and burning fat.
Activeman Focus is a nootropic supplement produced by Bio Synergy, a company founded in 1997. Whilst the supplement is aimed at endurance and performance athletes it’s suggested it can be used by anyone wishing to maintain a healthy heart.
The ingredients are a number of Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin said to help assist in brain function. This has not been found for many consumers taking the supplement though.
A single bottle of Activeman Focus for £19.99 plus delivery charges. A single bottle contains 90 capsules, and a single bottle will last for 30 days if used as directed.
Overall, we believe that that Bio Synergy Activeman Focus is not a good or strong nootropic supplement. The cognitive benefit from taking this product is minimal, and there are numerous other benefits of omega oils, fish oil and flaxseed oil that have far stronger clinical evidence. Activeman Focus is little more than an over-priced fish oil supplement.
The product is not covered by any money back guarantee, and opened or used items are not covered by the company’s returns policy.
Customer reviews have noted no cognitive benefits, and appear to use it as just another source of omegas 3, 6 and 9.
Overall, we do not recommend Bio Synergy Activeman Focus to our readers.

Activeman Focus is a fish oil and flaxseed supplement that is high in Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9. Fish has been known as a ‘brain food’ for years, which is supported moderately by clinical trials. Fish oil rich in DHA may improve blood flow to the brain, and could benefit ‘certain aspects of mental performance in young adults’.
Activeman Focus, and the rest of the Activeman range, are manufactured by Bio Synergy. They are designed specifically for use by men, although there is no evidence or reason why Activeman Focus could not be used by women. Consumers are encouraged to follow an Activeman or Bio Synergy nutrition plan and workout regime, in order to maximise their results.
Bio Synergy are a UK based company that offer numerous diet and exercise supplements, under a number of different ranges and sub-brand names. This supplement is a part of their Activeman range which is designed for men. Bio Synergy can be contacted using the information provided on their official website.
3 capsules per day to be taken with water before food.
The manufacturers list the following benefits of Bio Synergy Activeman Focus:
Activeman Focus is ideal for endurance and performance athletes and those who want to maintain a healthy heart. According to the manufacturers, the ingredients used in Activeman Focus have also been proven to assist brain function.
This product’s main ingredients are flaxseed and fish oil, which are both great sources of Omegas 3, 6, and 9. Supplementing these fatty acids has numerous benefits, including improved cardiac health, improved hair growth and strength, and even stronger nails. DHA may also increase blood flow to the brain, which could potentially aid mental focus and clarity. However, the clinical evidence for this is based upon only one study, and the doses used were unstated.
Whilst Omega fatty acids have numerous benefits, it appears that improved cognition is one of the smallest benefits, and so the product cannot really be called a nootropic.
The ingredients used in Bio Synergy Activeman Focus are more of a general health supplement that could potentially cause mild increases in focus and ‘some aspects of cognitive function’ as a result of increased blood flow to the brain, rather than a high strength nootropic in its own right.
Improved focus and cognition from fish oil supplementation is one of the least researched benefits of the ingredient, and this evidence is also the shakiest.
This product could cause very mild improvements in cognition, but it is not going to be a very noticeable difference, and the product cannot be called a true nootropic. Consumers are more likely to experience other benefits such as lowered cholesterol levels (if combined with a healthy diet), as well as shinier, stronger hair, and stronger nails.
The ingredients used in Bio Synergy Activeman Focus are listed below. The ingredient quantities, where provided, are per single capsule.
These ingredients provide the following doses of Omega oils.
Side effects from fish oil based omega supplements are rare; the most common side effect is a fishy after taste and sometimes fishy breath. Nausea, bloating and burping may also occur.
Omega-3 fatty acids may strengthen the effects of blood-thinning medications, including aspirin, warfarin (Coumadin), and
clopedigrel (Plavix). Use cautiously and consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
There are a few customer reviews for Activeman Focus, but they tend to be very short.
Lots of fish oils.
Perfect daily supplement, particularly as I do not eat fish.
I’ve recently been doing lots of projects and been on the go constantly so needed something to help me focus a bit more and keep on track. I’ve used these for a few weeks and have found them to be excellent, definitely helped me out tremendously!
Only issue is the capsules are really large, this isn’t a problem for me but for those who struggle taking pills or capsules this could be an issue.
