They can sell products easily and quickly, with the legal protection that Amazon supplies, making it more convenient for both the seller and the buyer.

Edge7 Move appears to be sold exclusively through Amazon, so before you part with your hard-earned money, let’s take a closer look at it to see if it actually works.

What Are The Side Effects Of Edge7 Move?

No side effects have been reported after taking this product, but it does contain caffeine, which may affect consumers with a low tolerance to this ingredient. If taken too close to bedtime, it can interfere with sleep cycles. It can also cause headaches, increased blood pressure and heart rate, increased urination thanks to the natural diuretic effect of caffeine, dehydration, dizziness and dehydration. However, it is worth noting that the amount of caffeine is quite low in this product. Tyrosine seems to be safe when taken by mouth in doses up to 150 mg per day for up to 3 months. However, the quantity of this ingredient is not listed, so we do not know whether it falls within these safety guidelines. It can also cause some people to experience side effects such as nausea, headaches, fatigue, and heartburn.

How Much Does Edge7 Move Cost?

Compared to other nootropic supplements, Edge7 Move is quite reasonably priced, costing £16.96 (with free shipping) from Amazon for 60 capsules, which if taken as directed, is a 30-day supply.

Our Verdict On Edge7 Move

Well, whilst there is nothing offensive or unsafe about the product, there is nothing really that jumps out at us making us think this product is anything special. Sure, caffeine is going to work – but is drinking a shot of espresso going to have the same effect? Tyrosine helps people who have had lost a night’s sleep, but what if your sleep is generally ok? The L-Theanine is effective at helping to reduce stress, but again, if you’re looking for something that works on a more general basis, and helps you to ‘fire on all cylinders’ as Edge7 Move claims, you’re better looking at other supplements on the market. There is also no proof that any of the ingredients will help to reduce symptoms of ADHD as claimed.

With all of this in mind, we do not recommend Edge7 Move to our readers

Edge7 Move Review

Edge7 Move is a nootropic supplement containing the ‘Edge7 Move’ formula – a proprietary blend of ingredients, as well as caffeine and vitamins. Whilst the quantities of some ingredients are known, others are not which makes us question the efficiency of the product. It is produced in the UK by Edge7 Labs, but distributed by Futurefood Technologies, who are also based in London

What Does Edge7 Move Claim To Do?

The manufacturer of Edge7 Move claims the product helps consumers to:

  • Rev up energy and boost focus – Whether you are gaming, competing physically or beating a deadline, the unique combination of amino acids, vitamin B6 and caffeine helps to boost your focus to give you a mental edge
  • Stimulate and concentrate – The synergistic combination of l-theanine and caffeine (which is equal to one shot of espresso) helps to speed up reaction time and visual processing, whilst improving concentration and enhancing your mood
  • Keep your cool – The inclusion of L-Tyrosine and DL phenylalanine helps to stabilise mood and enable you to perform at your best over long periods of time.It also allows the body to produce some key neurotransmitters to reduce symptoms of stress, sleep deprivation and even ADHD, and the inclusion of Vitamin B6 helps to reduce anxiety and irritability.
  • Level up faster – The supplement gives you an abundance of energy. precise quantities of 3 amino acids as well as caffeine and vitamin B6 helps to maximise mental activity all day.

Does Edge7 Move Work?

It doesn’t not work. There are ingredients in there that are going to give you a boost, such as the L-Theanine and the caffeine. However, it isn’t going to be the most effective supplement you can take. The caffeine is a relatively small dose – similar to that in a shot of espresso, and the quantity of L-Theanine is unknown, so we are unable to say how effective it is. There is no evidence to support the claim that this product may help to relieve symptoms of ADHD.

What Are The Ingredients of Edge7 Move?

Edge7 Move Formula (900 mg):

  • L-Tyrosine: Tyrosine is an amino acid which can be found in dairy products, meats, fish, eggs, nuts, beans, oats, and wheat. Research shows that taking tyrosine improves memory during stressful conditions, but not in normal conditions. It is also reported to help with mental performance under stressful conditions. It has been tested to see if it can help with the symptoms of ADHD – as the product claims – but so far, this has not been proven to be effective. Studies have also shown that taking tyrosine helps people who have lost a night’s sleep stay alert for about 3 hours longer than they would otherwise. Source
  • DL-Phenylalanine: DL-Phenylalanine is also an amino acid. Some research suggests that patients with ADHD have lower levels of amino acids such as this one, so it was hoped that providing phenylalanine might treat ADHD. However, clinical studies have shown that taking phenylalanine by mouth does not seem to have any effect on symptoms of ADHD. It does appear to have some mood enhancing qualities.
  • L-Theanine: The third amino acid in the supplement, and one of the most effective. L-Theanine is found naturally in green tea. It has a calming effect, thanks to its modulation of the nervous system – after exposure to stress, it can sometimes help to lower blood pressure. It can also increase alpha brave wave activity in humans, eliciting a relaxed but alert state.
  • Caffeine (85 mg): We know that caffeine is going to have an impact on levels of mental alertness. It’s not technically a nootropic, as it is a stimulant, but is pretty much always included in products like this as it has a proven record of working. The 85 mg dose is equivalent to one shot of espresso. In isolation, this is not too bad a dose. It’s high enough to have an effect but not too high to cause much in the way of side effects for most people. However, it is worth noting that is recommended that you do not consume more than 300mg a day of caffeine, so if you are taking this supplement alongside your normal cups of coffee, be aware.
  • Vitamin B6 Pyridoxine HCL (10mg): This can be found in cereals, beans, vegetables, liver, meat, and eggs. Symptoms of a serious deficiency of vitamin B6 can include nervousness, irritability, weakness, depression, difficulty concentrating, and short-term memory loss, so obviously taking them in a supplement will help this.
  • Magnesium Stearate: Magnesium stearate is a simple salt made of two common nutritional substances, the mineral magnesium and the saturated fat stearic acid. It is used as a flow agent in many supplements and pharmaceuticals. This basically helps to keep a consistent dose of product in each capsule and stop the ingredients sticking together or to the capsule. It does have a bit of a bad reputation, as it was claimed it reduced absorption of nutrients, but these appear to be mostly unfounded.

Does Edge7 Move Have Any Side Effects?

None have been listed or reported, however, as with all supplements containing caffeine, there may be side effects such as insomnia, jitters, increased heart rate, increased urination, and dehydration. Tyrosine can cause some people to experience side effects such as nausea, headaches, fatigue, and heartburn.

Caution:

Contains caffeine. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Pregnant women should consult a doctor before intake. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Edge7 Move?

Apart from Amazon, where there are just 6 reviews, we have been unable to find anything for this product. All of the reviews on Amazon are positive, with comments such as:

I am impressed how just one capsule can sharpen me up. – I tend to take just one capsule at a time, unless I am really close to a deadline. I used to drink a lot of coffee but actually prefer the increased clarity you get from one capsule compared to coffee, apparently they have roughly the same amount of caffeine.
