Inteligen

Rating
The nootropics industry is still in its infancy, and whilst it is led by many companies who use clinically proven ingredients and who take a professional attitude to help their customers, other companies are releasing sub-par products with their main priority being making money. Unfortunately, the manufacturers of Inteligen appear to fall into the second category, taking an unprofessional attitude and using pushy marketing to sell Inteligen.

Below we take an in-depth look at Inteligen to whether or not it is an effective cognitive enhancer that can boost energy levels, increase productivity, and even increase intelligence.

Inteligen Pros

  • 30 day money back guarantee

Inteligen Cons

  • Expensive supplement
  • Missing information about ingredients, quantities and daily dosage
  • No customer reviews available

What You Need To Know About Inteligen

Inteligen is marketed as an ‘Advanced Brain Formula that can help you enhance focus, boost intelligence and increase your productivity’.

The manufacturers of Inteligen have set up several different websites promoting Inteligen, whilst avoiding providing much detail about what is actually used in the product. These websites, such as Inteligen.org state that consumers can get a free bottle of the supplement, but clicking the link reveals a sales page, where consumers can get free bottles if they make a bulk purchase, i.e buy two get one free.

What Are The Side Effects Of Inteligen?

There are numerous side effects that could be caused by the ingredients used in Inteligen. Bacopa can cause stomach issues, whilst Vinpocetine can cause stomach pain; digestive issues appears to be the most likely side effect to occur.

There are no independent reviews for Inteligen, and so we have no anecdotal evidence to establish how often side effects occur.

How Much Does Inteligen Cost?

Each bottle of Inteligen contains 60 capsules; the daily dosage is not made clear on the official website, but if consumers take 2 capsules per day, then the bottle will provide a 30 day supply. This makes the supplement very expensive, especially considering that consumers are taking a risk when ordering this product, because so much information is omitted from the sales website!

A single bottle of Inteligen costs $49 plus shipping charges (a total of $58.95). If consumers try to leave the website before purchasing, then they are offered a buy one get one free coupon.
Three bottles (advertised as buy 2, get one free), costs $99, with free shipping. Five bottles (advertised as buy 3, get 2 free) costs $148 with free shipping.

Our Verdict On Inteligen

We have found lots of issues with Inteligen, most of which come from the manufacturing company not providing enough information about themselves and the supplement. It is not clear who manufactures the product, and the company provide no contact details- there is a generic contact box, but there is no guarantee that the company will reply to the customer.

The company also fail to provide a supplement facts box, and have neglected to provide any ingredient quantities or dosage information on their website. It is also unclear if the four ingredients they have listed on the website represent the complete ingredients list.

Out of the four listed ingredients, only two have clear clinical support for their use in improving memory, reducing anxiety and improving cognition; the other two ingredients are not considered to act as nootropics.

The manufacturers of Inteligen state that they offer a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee but do not specify whether this covers opened products or not. The product is also expensive for a nootropic supplement. The official website also makes misleading offers such as ‘free bottle today’ and ‘tell us where to ship your free bottle’, when really they are referring to a buy 2 get one free offer- this is an incredibly misleading practice designed to get customers to click on the buy now button!

We do not recommend Inteligen to our readers!

Inteligen Review

Inteligen is a nootropic supplement that is available exclusively online. The manufacturer states that Inteligen enhances focus, boost intelligence, and increase your productivity, as well as improve memory.

Inteligen Facts

  • Unclear who manufactures Inteligen
  • 60 capsules per bottle
  • No contact information- only generic contact form

It is not clear who manufactures Inteligen. They provide no customer contact information such as a phone number or email address, and their physical address is not listed on the official website either. Customers can use the generic contact form to try to contact the company.

How to Take Inteligen

No directions for use are provided on the official website, but they should be detailed on the back of the bottle.

We have numerous concerns about the professionalism of the company that sells Inteligen. The company have provided no real name, address, email or phone numbers on their official website. They have also failed to provide basic information about their supplement, such as the ingredient quantities used or a supplement facts box. The company also advertises that customers can get a free bottle, but until customers get to the payment page, they neglect to mention that the free bottle is available to anyone making a bulk purchase.

Inteligen Concerns:

  • Ingredient quantities not provided
  • Expensive supplement
  • Official website appears to offer free bottle, but just takes customers to buy now page

In one section of the official website, the product being described appears to be a supplement for menopausal women or a female libido booster, and yet is referred to as Inteligen. It is silly errors such as this that reinforce our opinion that the manufacturers of Inteligen are unprofessional!

What Does Inteligen Claim To Do?

According to the manufacturers, the benefits of Inteligen include:

  • Boost your focus
  • Increase your energy
  • Enhance your memory
  • Boost your intelligence
  • Made with natural ingredients

The about section of the sales website contains the following description of the benefits of the supplement. We believe that this is an error caused by copy and pasting sections of another website and replacing the name without properly checking the content, which seems to be an incredibly unprofessional mistake to make!

Women’s sexual health and wellness can be a lifelong struggle for many. Especially as women age and enter the menopause phase of life. By taking InteliGEN, you will feel the benefits of increased sexual pleasure, while curbing menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, fatigue, vaginal dryness and mood swings. Not only will you look and feel much more youthful, your health will strongly benefit from reduced cholesterol levels, firmer skin and cleaned blood.

Does Inteligen Work?

Without knowing the ingredient quantities used in Inteligen, or even the dosage of a proprietary formula, it is difficult to establish how effective this supplement is at boosting cognitive function. If the ingredient quantities are too small, then the product will be ineffective, but if the doses are too high, then side effects are much more likely to occur, stopping the consumer from using the product.

Bacopa Monnieri needs to be taken over a prolonged period of time in order to for the effects up build up. Bacopa Monnieri reduces anxiety and improves memory. Vinpocetine could both help to improve mental energy and memory, but the clinical evidence is generally inadequate, as the trials that have been conducted are extremely limited, biased and outdated. L-carnitine is an amino acid; it can be used to aid muscle building, but high doses are required and the ingredient must be used in conjunction with muscle building exercises. There is no clear clinical evidence available to support the use of ginkgo biloba and L-carnitine as cognitive enhancers, but they may have other benefits.

If the ingredients are used in sufficient quantities, then the supplement could help to boost memory and mental energy.

What Are The Ingredients of Inteligen?

The ingredients used in Inteligen are listed below. The manufacturers do not provide any ingredient quantities or proprietary formula doses, and it is possible that this list is not an extensive list of all of the ingredients used in the supplement.

Does Inteligen Have Any Side Effects?

There are several ingredients used in Inteligen that could cause a range of side effects. It is unclear whether or not there are any other ingredients are used in Inteligen, as the complete supplement information is not provided- if there are other ingredients present in Inteligen that have not been listed, then other side effects could occur. The ingredient quantities are also not provided by the manufacturer, and so it is not possible to establish the likelihood of side effects occurring whilst using this supplement.

L-Carnitine can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, heartburn, diarrhoea, and seizures. It can also cause the urine, breath, and sweat to have a “fishy” odour.

Studies have shown that Bacopa leaf causes upset stomachs in participants much more than placebos. This has led to the recommendation that this ingredient be taken with a meal, rather than on an empty stomach, as this will minimise the chances of getting an upset stomach. It may also may cause nausea, cramping, bloating, and diarrhoea.
Vinpocetine can cause some side effects including stomach pain, nausea, sleep disturbances, headache, dizziness, nervousness, and flushing of the face.

Caution:
Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. Consult with a physician before purchase if you have a serious medical condition or use any medications, whether prescription or over the counter. A Doctor’s advice should be sought before using this and any supplemental dietary product.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Inteligen?

Whilst there are some customer testimonials provided on the official website, there are no independent customer reviews that we could locate. The problem with testimonials provided by the manufacturers is that obviously they have been selected (and often edited) to show the product in the best possible light, with all negative reviews being ignored. This makes testimonials inherently biased! Some companies even fabricate their testimonials completely, although there is no indication that this has occurred with the testimonials for Inteligen.

The amount of decisions I need to make throughout the day is very draining on my mental stamina. Adding InteliGEN to my daily routine has definitely expanded my concentration and productivity.

Inteligen has increased my alertness and ability to think clearly since I began taking it a few weeks ago. I feel more equipped to tackle the day. I’d say my wellbeing and capacity to handle stress is more balanced. Wish I’d discovered Inteligen sooner!

I travel tons, mainly to China. I am a senior buyer and need to be sharp from the moment I land. I no longer feel foggy and jetlagged thanks to Inteligen. I highly recommend it!

Does Inteligen Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

According to the official website:

All orders are secured with a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee.
To return your order for a full refund, simply contact us for a RMA Return Merchandise Authorization number, and we’ll give you instructions on how to return your order to our warehouse for a full refund.

The company do not specify whether opened products qualify for a refund.

Where Can I Buy Inteligen?

The price of Intelligen is not provided until the consumer has already clicked on the buy button on the official website. The initial page that consumers are sent appears to offer a free bottle to consumers; we initially thought that this meant a ‘free trial’ bottle, where consumers just pay for shipping fees, but a closer look revealed that the ‘free’ bottle is sent out when consumers purchase multiple bottles, with either a buy 2, get one free offer, or a buy 3, get 2 free offer. This is obviously very misleading!

A single bottle of Intelligen costs $49 plus shipping charges (a total of $58.95). If consumers try to leave the website before purchasing, then they are offered a buy one get one free coupon.

Three bottles (advertised as buy 2, get one free), costs $99, with free shipping. Five bottles (advertised as buy 3, get 2 free) costs $148 with free shipping.
