Below we take an in-depth look at Kimera Koffee, to see what benefits this product offers consumers.
Kimera Koffee is a ground coffee blend, that contains additional nootropic ingredients including Alpha-GPC, theanine, and DMAE. It will supposedly give consumers boosted energy levels, and optimised focus and concentration. The beans used in the blend are grown in the Dominican Republic at high altitudes. Customers can choose from a medium or dark roast, and can buy bags of coffee grounds or pre-packaged cups suitable for use in a Keurig coffee maker.
The ingredients found in Kimera Koffee could potentially cause a range of side effects. Side effects do not appear to be common, based upon the available customer reviews – in fact, some people state that whilst normal coffee gives them caffeine related side effects, they did not experience any jitters or other side effects whilst drinking this product.
Theanine causes a state of relaxation without drowsiness, and may help to counteract some of the potential side effects of caffeine, such as jitteriness. Consumers should still ensure that they do not consume caffeine within 5 hours of bedtime, as caffeine can interfere with sleep cycles. Side effects of caffeine can include headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness, and insomnia.
A-GPC can cause side effects in some people including heartburn, headache, insomnia, dizziness, skin rash, and confusion.
Side effects that can be caused by DMAE include constipation, itching, headache, drowsiness, insomnia, excitation, vivid dreams, confusion, depression, increased blood pressure, an increase in schizophrenia symptoms, and unwanted movements of the face and mouth.
There are numerous customer reviews that express their disappointment at the high price of Kimera Koffee. It is certainly more expensive than other coffee brands, but when considering it as a nootropic supplement, the price is far more reasonable.
Kimera Koffee can be purchased from the official Kimera Koffee website. There are several options available to customers. A 12 oz bag of ground coffee costs $21.95. The white bag is the medium roast, and the black bag is the dark roast. There is also a 5 lb bag available (60 oz.), which costs $124.95 and contains 160 servings. A box of Kimera Koffee packaged into Keurig cups costs $34.00 – each box contains 24 Keurig cups. Delivery charges may apply.
When purchasing from the Kimera Koffee website, customers can also opt to sign up for the “Subscribe and Save” auto-ship program. This offers customers a 25% discount on their purchases, and customers can choose between repeat delivery every one or two weeks, or every one or two months.

In general, we are very impressed by Kimera Koffee, but there are a few factors that prevent us from being able to recommend it to our readers.
The product features a proprietary formula, meaning that no individual ingredient quantities are provided. This makes it difficult to establish just how strong the product really is. The dosage appears to have been designed to have a small but noticeable effect from just one cup of coffee, but it will stack for greater effect if drinking several cups throughout the day. The active ingredients featured in the product do have a mixture of clinical and anecdotal support for their use to boost focus, cognition, and energy levels. Customer reviews are generally very positive. The taste of the coffee is obviously subjective, and whilst some dislike the taste, many reviewers love it.
The manufacturers do not expressly offer a money-back guarantee, and do not specify whether they will accept opened products for return. However, they state that their returns policy is “no questions asked”, and lasts for 30 days. Customers need to email the company before sending any products back to them.
The product is expensive when compared to other coffee brands, but considering the added nootropic elements this is unsurprising; the price is still less than a dollar per cup of coffee (the Keurig cups version is more expensive again), which is obviously far cheaper than a coffee from a chain coffee shop. If you typically drink a lot of coffee each day, then drinking Kimera Koffee could end up being rather expensive, but with such an unusual nootropic product it is difficult to make a value judgement. Customers who sign up for the company’s emails get a 15% discount code, which would make ordering the product just to sample it cheaper.
Overall, we do not recommend Kimera Koffee to our readers in general, but fans of “proper coffee” at home who are looking to buy a nootropic might consider Kimera Koffee to be an innovative option.

As some nootropic supplements contain stimulants such as caffeine, it can be difficult for self-professed coffee addicts to cut down on the coffee to be able to take a caffeine-containing nootropic supplement without experiencing side effects. Kimera Koffee is a ground coffee blend that has several nootropic ingredients added into the formula, for a smoother and greater cognitive boost than your average cup of java. The manufacturers bold state on their website that “Kimera Koffee is more than just a coffee, it is a way of life.”
More specifically, the manufacturers claim that Kimera Koffee offers boosted energy levels, optimised focus and concentration, and enhanced athletic performance.
Directions for use are not provided on the official website. However, the FAQ does provide more information regarding how much Kimera Koffee is too much:
“How much Kimera Koffee can I have per day?
We get this question quite a bit. The answer is — exactly the same as a regular cup of coffee if we’re talking about caffeine intake!
If talking about a maximum amount of healthy Nootropic intake, we recommend no more than 8 tablespoons of ground coffee (4 servings) per day.
With that being said, we do not recommend going over 500 mg of caffeine to have the best synergistic effects between Nootropics and coffee. This would be the equivalent of 2-3 cups or 4-6 tablespoons per day.
Assess your tolerance and be safe!”
Kimera Koffee is manufactured by Kraken Koffee LLC, who are based in Coral Gables, Florida, in the USA. They can be contacted using the information provided on their official website.
The manufacturers provide the following description of the product’s benefits:
Kimera Koffee combines theanine and caffeine; numerous clinical studies suggest that this combination does have mild cognitive benefits. In one study, participants performed better on “cognitively demanding tasks” including memory tasks and “attention switching” tasks (multi-tasking) when taking a caffeine-theanine blend than without, but the differences in scores were not made clear. Another study found that the ingestion of a combination of theanine and caffeine “facilitated behavioural performance” but again, the details regarding the amount of improvement in scoring are not available.
Caffeine also boosts alertness and energy levels, both physical and mental. Alpha-GPC may help to boost cognition, and DMAE might increase acetylcholine levels in the brain. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter which is linked with improved learning, memory retention and recall.
The ingredients found in Kimera Koffee are detailed below. Individual ingredient quantities are not provided, but every serving of coffee (one Keurig cup or two tablespoons of powder) contains 725 mg of the proprietary formula. The amount of caffeine per serving is unknown, but the manufacturers state that it is comparable to any other cup of ground and brewed coffee.

There are lots of customer reviews for Kimera Koffee on Amazon, where the product is sold. The reviews below are a mixture of reviews of the medium roast and dark roast versions of Kimera Koffee, as well as reviews from the individual packaged Keurig cups version of the product.
Have been drinking this coffee for several months from their 12oz bags with the “My K-Cup” setup in my Keurig, and decided to give their pre-made K-Cups a try. Same great taste I’m accustomed to, but i wish i could separate the grounds and filter from the plastic like the Wolfgang Puck brand K-cups. Just not a fan of creating more plastic waste just to save a minute, but I’ll definitely continue purchasing the 12oz bags cause I love Kimera Koffee.
Simply best coffee ever a bit pricey I can’t afford to drink it every day but a good coffee if you need a sharp mind.
Love this stuff, it does work! Feel charged and motivated after drinking it.
Great coffee…personally I think I my go back to the original kimera in the white bag. I found it to have a smoother taste. I’ve come to realize the dark roast is a bit much for me, although I am certainly finishing it. As for the nootropics, it’s hard to tell if I am benefiting or not. I take extra supplements along with the coffee.
Feels pretty good but tastes pretty bad: not fresh (roasted and ground a while ago) mixed with a weird taste from the added extras. Just buy good coffee (for way less) and take your supplements on the side…
Four stars. Nice, but not sure it really has all of the energy qualities. Just tastes like a coffee.
Avoid. Vile.
Good taste with a twist. Good taste, and can definitely notice the nootropic effects. Only downside is the cost.
This has a nice clean taste and bold finish which is evident with a good dark roast. I didn’t notice any particular cognitive benefits, but I appreciate the nootropics being included in the formula nonetheless. No jitters or crash that come with inferior brands as well. If you’re a coffee lover, I recommend trying this one.
First time (yesterday) I consumed Kimera it made me say Oh my God. I got a Foodgasm, Hee, hee. I did feel energized and happy all over. Taste is Mmmm and not acid at all. If it were for me I would drink a gallon. Thank You!!
Enjoyable. Coffee tastes great and offers a nice supplement to proper diet.
Really helps me with those early mornings and long days. Keeps my mind focused without the crash. Awesome product!
Gives me a smooth, clean energy boost in the morning with no crash or jitters. Tastes great, goes well with Cacao powder for sure. Definitely recommend for those looking to sharpen their game and are searching for a cleaner alternative.
Started using it mainly for study but also works really well for jiu jitsu. I feel like I’m more reactive and motivated to really get going after an espresso or two before training. Allows me to think more clearly about what I’m doing with my body and what the next actions to do are.
