What You Need To Know About Microlife Sleep

Microlife Sleep is designed to improve your quality of sleep and is manufactured by Vasayo, a multi-level marketing company that was established in 2016. Vasayo was founded by Dallin and Karree Larsen, a husband and wife team; Dallin Larsen has been the CEO, Founder, and Senior Executive for numerous failed companies that have been accused of being pyramid schemes.

What Are The Side Effects Of Microlife Sleep?

Melatonin may cause headaches, depression, dizziness, stomach cramps, and irritability.

Side effects of GABA are unusual and typically mild, most often presenting when supplementing 3000 mg or more per day; this is much higher than the amounts used in Microlife Sleep. Side effects include tingling sensations, shortness of breath, and sleepiness.

NAC can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea, or constipation. Rarely, it can cause rashes, fever, headache, drowsiness, low blood pressure, and liver problems. When inhaled (breathed into the lungs), it can also cause swelling in the mouth, runny nose, drowsiness, clamminess, and chest tightness.

How Much Does Microlife Sleep Cost?

Compared to other sleep aid supplements, Microlife Sleep is a relatively expensive product!

There are two prices available; one-time customers will pay $54.95 for a single packet. Brand Partners and customers on auto ship programs pay $49.95 for a single packet. Delivery charges may apply.

Microlife Core Essentials can also be purchased on Amazon, with a single packet here costing $45.43, with free shipping.

Our Verdict On Microlife Sleep

We are not very impressed by Microlife Sleep, primarily because of the manufacturers, Vasayo.

The manufacturers, Vasayo, are a multi-level marketing company, who encourage people to sign up as Brand Ambassadors and sell products to their friends and family, in exchange for commission on sales. These companies also encourage people to recruit more brand ambassadors for their team, giving them commission on their team’s sales as well. This structure is one reason why the prices of Microlife Sleep and other Microlife products are so inflated compared to other vitamin supplements. The CEO of Vasayo has a long history of operating dodgy companies that have run-ins with the FDA, are compared to pyramid schemes, and that ultimately go bust.

We advise our readers to avoid joining MLM companies, as numerous studies have proven that the majority of people who join MLM companies fail to make their initial investment back, let alone a profit or a serious wage. MLM companies are often very similar in structure to pyramid schemes, although as they sell an actual product, they do fall on the correct side of the law, although it’s a very hazy area.

There is no money back guarantee on this product; only unopened products can be returned, and there is a restocking fee of 10% of the product’s cost.

Whilst there are reviews of the product, none are independent or unbiased, and the reviews that have been left are written by Vasayo Brand Ambassadors, and read like an extended sales pitch. They are definitely not unbiased or dependable reviews.

When you are suffering from disrupted sleep patterns, you should always try to work out what bad habits you are keeping that are interfering with your sleep; using a sleep spray will not change those habits, and will not solve any problems in the long term. Before you buy any sleep aids, you should first cut down on caffeine in the afternoon, have at least a 30 minute break from technology before bed, and ensure that your sleep environment is dark enough, as light interferes with melatonin production.

Overall, we do not recommend Microlife Sleep to our readers.

Microlife Sleep Review

Microlife Sleep is a spray supplement designed to improve the quality of your sleep, as well as to help you to fall asleep. Like all of the Microlife range, it features a “proprietary liposomal-encapsulation technology” which “targets improved nutrient delivery and absorption within the body”. You may have noticed that the official website only claims to “target” this goal, not actually achieve it; the manufacturers seem to be very well practiced in hinting at a wonderful product whilst technically offering very little.

It seems likely that the company are trying to avoid lawsuits and the attention of the FDA, whilst still pushing their product and its supposed benefits. We also find it strange that this encapsulation technology is used at all in this product; oral sprays are usually sprayed under the tongue, and are absorbed into the bloodstream directly through the mouth, which would mean that any technology aimed at protecting the product from stomach acid is really not necessary.

Microlife Sleep Facts

  • Manufactured by Vasayo
  • Product is an oral spray
  • Contains a proprietary formula

Microlife Core Essentials is manufactured by Vasayo, a multi-level marketing company, and sold by brand ambassadors, who receive a commission of any sales they make.

How to Take Microlife Sleep

Directions for use are as follows: Shake bottle well. Take 2-4 sprays orally before bedtime.

Vasayo was founded by Dallin and Karree Larsen, a husband and wife team; Dallin Larsen has been the CEO, Founder and Senior Executive for numerous multi-level marketing companies that have been accused of being pyramid schemes. MonaVie, which Mr. Larsen was founder and CEO of, collapsed and was sold off after the company defaulted on a $182 million loan in 2015. Another of his companies was shut down by the FDA for illegal business practices, with 90,000 units destroyed under the FDA’s supervision.

Mr. Larsen’s companies have repeatedly been compared to pyramid schemes, have been sued for using celebrities’ images as endorsement without their permission, and have been sued for using “false and misleading advertising” and “unfair and deceptive business practices”. With this history of poor business practices associated with the CEO and Founder of Vasayo, we are obviously immediately sceptical of the company.

Microlife Sleep Concerns:

  • No returns on opened products
  • 10% restocking fee
  • No individual ingredient quantities provided

Vasayo currently sell five products; Microlife Core, a vitamin supplement, Microlife Neuro, Microlife Energy, and more. We imagine that as the company progresses, new supplements and products will be added to their range.

Vasayo can be contacted using the information provided on their official website. However, customers are likely to be told to contact the brand ambassador that they ordered from to arrange returns or exchanges.

What Does Microlife Sleep Claim To Do?

The manufacturers provide the following description of the product’s “Features & Benefits”:

  • “Support Normal Sleep: This carefully crafted blend uses ingredients to support normal sleep by regulating sleep and wake cycles in healthy adults.*
  • Optimize Your Body’s Natural Sleep Mechanisms: Ingredients like melatonin support the body’s own sleep cycles for better-quality rest.*
  • Relax & Reduce Stress: MicroLife Sleep helps relax the mind and body.*
  • Awake Energized: With a healthy, rejuvenating night’s sleep you can awake renewed and rested.*
  • Advanced Delivery Technology: Our proprietary liposomal-encapsulation technology targets improved nutrient delivery and absorption within the body.”

Does Microlife Sleep Work?

Theoretically, Microlife Sleep should help consumers to get to sleep because of the use of Melatonin. There are two forms of melatonin; slow release and regular; this spray is not slow release; some people seem to respond better to time release melatonin than others.

GABA supplements cannot cross the blood-brain barrier, and so it is unlikely to actually affect GABA levels in the brain, or to aid sleep. It is possible that the placebo effect does play a role in the success of this supplement.

What Are The Ingredients of Microlife Sleep?

The ingredients found in Microlife Sleep are detailed below. The product contains several proprietary formulas, which means that individual ingredient quantities are not provided. Each serving of four sprays contains 70 mg of the sleep proprietary blend, and 50 mg of the liposome proprietary blend.

Vitamin B2 1 mg (60% RDA)

Vitamin B6 1 mg (50% RDA)

Sleep Proprietary Blend 70 mg

  • GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid): A chemical that is produced in the brain naturally and acts as a neurotransmitter, it is also available in supplement form. It is often used in sleep remedies, because healthy people with insomnia often have reduced levels of GABA. However, GABA cannot pass the blood-brain barrier, and so GABA supplementation cannot affect GABA levels in the brain and therefore probably don’t improve sleep. GABA is also thought to reduce anxiety, improve mood, and could also reduce symptoms of PMS. It is sometimes used as a non-prescription treatment of ADHD, as it is thought to induce calm and aid mental focus. However, as GABA supplements cannot cross the blood-brain barrier, it is likely that any mental benefits are the result of a placebo effect. Source
  • NAC (N-acetylcysteine): This amino acid suppresses the brain’s synthesis of glutamate and promotes conversion to GABA. Theoretically, this helps to promote sleep as the brain naturally does this conversion when preparing itself for sleep. It is also used in hospitals to treat cases of paracetamol overdose.

  • Melatonin: Melatonin is a hormone which helps to regulate the body’s sleep cycle. It is used as a supplement to treat insomnia, and is also used to treat depression. Source
  • Liposome Proprietary Blend 50 mg: The manufacturers claim that this Liposome blend is an “advanced delivery technology” that allows for “improved nutrient delivery and absorption within the body.” They offer no evidence to back up this claim.
  • Phosphatidylcholine
  • Palmitic Acid
  • Oleic Acid Complex

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Microlife Sleep?

We were unable to locate any independent customer reviews for Microlife Sleep. However, there are numerous customer reviews from Vasayo Brand Partners (who earn commissions on sales of products) on the official website. All of the reviews below have also been moderated by Vasayo. These are inherently biased reviews, as negative reviews will not be published, but also the people writing the reviews have a vested interest in the product, as they earn commissions through sales.

I used to wake up feeling tired, fatigued, and with headaches. Now, thanks to MicroLife Sleep, I wake up feeling refreshed and energized!

Sleep MicroMyst is AMAZING! I love all the products, but this one is my absolute favorite. Having worked shift work for years, my sleep rhythms were off, and I hadn’t slept through the night in 16 years…16 years! And then I discovered Sleep, which has been a life-changer for me. I feel so much better in the mornings now that my mind and body are finally getting some rest. I love love love these products!

The first night I used MicroLife Sleep, I experienced a deep, restful sleep, and woke up without brain fog or feeling groggy. What a life changer!

I’ve had trouble sleeping all my life. I would lay awake at night unable to clear my mind. Thoughts would race and never stop. Eventually, I would fall asleep exhausted and wake up to my alarm with only a couple of restless hours of tossing and turning. I would yawn throughout the day and struggle to stay awake. But now, with Sleep, I fall asleep quickly and stay asleep all night and wake up with no alarm needed. I feel so much better in my late 40s than I did even in my 20s.

Does Microlife Sleep Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

Vasayo do not offer a money back guarantee on their products. They have an incredibly long returns period, 12 months, but this only applies to unopened products, and there is a restocking fee.

They state:

“You may return product within 12 months from the date of purchase for a 90% refund of the product price, excluding shipping.

*Product must be in resalable condition (i.e., unused, unopened, not expired). A 10% restocking fee is applied on product returns. Shipping costs associated with returning product are the responsibility of the customer/Brand Partner returning the product. Any commissions and bonuses paid on the sale of returned product will be reclaimed from the upline/Sponsor.”

Where Can I Buy Microlife Sleep?

Microlife Sleep can be purchased through the official Vasayo website, or through a “Vasayo Brand Partner”.

There are two prices available; one-time customers will pay $54.95 for a single bottle. Brand Partners and customers on auto ship programs pay $49.95 for a single bottle. Delivery charges may apply. We advise our readers to avoid auto ship programs because they can cost you far more in the long term, as auto ship programs are easy to forget about and can be difficult to cancel.

Microlife Core Essentials can also be purchased on Amazon, with a single packet here costing $45.43, with free shipping.
