What You Need To Know About Neurodrive

Neurodrive is fairly cheap for a nootropic supplement, especially as they tend to carry a high price tag in general. A small sized bottle will only last for 15 days of use, and so the long term cost of using the product is slightly more expensive, but its price is still favourable compared to many of the other nootropics we have seen.

The lack of ingredient quantities is disappointing; it makes it impossible to know for certain whether the ingredients are used in effective doses or not. Choline is considered useful for boosting cognitive function and memory, and there is a source of caffeine, which may boost alertness and mental energy, although it is not strictly considered to be a nootropic ingredient.

Some of the other ingredients have outdated or insufficient clinical evidence to support their use as a nootropic ingredient.

What Are The Side Effects Of Neurodrive?

There are numerous potential side effects that could occur whilst using this nootropic supplement, and one consumer reported feeling no benefits, only numerous side effects that were the exact opposite of the expected results. Again, without knowing the ingredient quantities, it is impossible to accurately establish the likelihood of side effects occurring.

How Much Does Neurodrive Cost?

On the US website, a bottle of 30 capsules costs $30.95. On the UK website, a single bottle of 60 capsules costs £27.55, while a single bottle of 30 capsules costs £14.95.

Our Verdict On Neurodrive

There is no money back guarantee for this product, but in some circumstances the company may allow returns on opened and partially used products. This appears to be more likely in cases where side effects presented, rather than where the consumer merely didn’t like the product.

Overall, we do not recommend Neurodrive from Mind Nutrition to our readers.

Neurodrive Review

Neurodrive Facts

  • Manufactured by Mind Nutrition.
  • Choice of 30 or 60 capsules per bottle.
  • Unknown ingredient quantities.

Neurodrive is a nootropic supplement that supposedly provides numerous benefits for the consumer. These include improved mental energy levels, improved coordination, increased levels of focus and better mood, motivation and drive.

Neurodrive is manufactured by Mind Nutrition, who have offices in London, UK and Santa Fe, USA. The company have a range of nootropic supplements, identifiable by the ‘Neuro’ that is always in the name. Other nootropics the company offer include Neurostim and Neurochill.

They also offer numerous nootropic ingredients separately, allowing consumers to either build their own stacks or to sample a single ingredient.

The company can be contacted using the details provided on the official website.

How to Take Neurodrive

As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules to promote mental energy, mood and concentration. Neurodrive is best taken with a light meal or a source of healthy fats. Do not exceed four capsules in any 24 hour period unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.

Neurodrive Concerns:

  • No money back guarantee.
  • Some customer complaints of poor customer service.
  • Unknown ingredient quantities.

What Does Neurodrive Claim To Do?

The manufacturer of Neurodrive has provided the following list of the product’s key benefits:

  • Improves mental energy levels
  • Clean, consistent, laser-like focus
  • Can provide neural-antioxidant properties
  • Improves the mind-muscle connection for increased co-ordination
  • Plays a role in increasing dopamine receptors for improved mood, motivation and drive

Neurodrive won’t interfere with your sleep, your appetite or your cortisol levels because unlike some other companies we don’t simply pile a load of geranamine or other strong stimulants into our product. However Neurodrive WILL give you laser-like focus and the motivation and mind-muscle connection that you seek.

Whether for use as a pre-workout aid or for a late-night gaming session (or simply to replace or augment your morning coffee fix), Neurodrive won’t let you down, won’t cause jitters and won’t overburden your cardiovascular and sympathetic nervous system like so many other ‘fat burners’ or pre-workout products.

So What Does All This Mean?

The lack of individual ingredient quantities is incredibly frustrating. Whilst the product has a promising ingredients list, without knowing the exact doses, it is almost impossible to establish whether this product is actually effective or not. The doses required for various benefits can also vary hugely; studies suggest that the dose of choline needed for improved memory is around 250 mg per day, whilst the dose needed for improved cognitive function in the elderly was four times that amount.

EGCG has typically been studied in relation to weight loss, but some preliminary studies are connecting it with improved mental function, memory and cognition. More studies are still required to see the extent of its effects.

Vinpocetine could both help to improve mental energy and memory, but the clinical evidence is generally inadequate, as the trials that have been conducted are extremely limited, biased and outdated. Choline could improve memory and cognitive function, depending upon the doses used. Caffeine, found naturally in guarana, increases both mental and physical energy levels, and also increases alertness.

So Does Neurodrive Work?

The customer reviews for Neurodrive are incredibly positive, but they are laid out on the website as if they are testimonials that have been selected rather than independent customer reviews. The only review of Neurodrive we could locate that was on an independent website was negative, with the consumer feeling anxious and mentally fatigued. This could have been because they combined Neurodrive with another nootropic manufactured by the company, Neurostim, which could have increased the chances of side effects occurring.

The ingredients used in Neurodrive all appear to have some beneficial impact upon cognitive output, and energy levels. Choline is used by the brain to make a neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, and so could improve memory. The lack of ingredient quantities makes it difficult to establish whether Neurodrive is actually going to be an effective nootropic, as it is unknown whether or not the ingredients are used in adequate doses. It also makes establishing the likelihood of side effects occurring difficult to establish.

So What Is Neurodrive and What Are The Ingredients?

The ingredients used in Neurodrive are listed below. The product contains a proprietary formula, and so individual ingredient quantities are not provided. There is 1305 mg of the MN proprietary formula per serving of two capsules.

MN formulation 1305 mg

  • CDP Choline (cytidine 5′-diphosphocholine sodium salt): CDP Choline appears to improve attention, and could improve memory, although the dose was much higher than appears to be used in Nexus, and the relevant study focused upon the elderly. Choline is required to make increased levels of acetylcholine in the brain. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter which is linked with improved learning, memory retention and recall.
  • Guarana Extract (22% caffeine): Numerous studies have shown that caffeine boosts energy levels and alertness, as well as mildly boosting the metabolism. The effects shown in studies are small, and some studies are inconclusive.
  • Sulbutiamine: A synthetic molecule that consists of two thiamine molecules bound together chemically. It is thought that Sulbutiamine can treat fatigue, although evidence is still preliminary.
  • Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (45% EGCG): Typically found in green tea. EGCG is a type of catechin that has been proven to cause an increase in thermogenesis in the body, which causes an increase in calorie burn in the process. As an antioxidant, this may also have general health benefits. Studies in those aged 70 plus show improved cognitive function after consuming EGCG and other polyphenols found in tea, while studies in mice suggest it could also aid memory.
  • Vinpocetine (as Vinponature): Because it is an entirely synthetic chemical, that requires significant lab-work to produce, there is some debate as to whether this ingredient actually qualifies as a supplement under US and FDA guidelines. Vinpocetine may increase blood flow to the brain, and so may help to treat fatigue and improve memory; despite claims about research being extensive, most research is outdated and uses biased research methods.

Does Neurodrive Have Any Side Effects?

There are some ingredients in Neurodrive that could cause a range of side effects. The likelihood of side effects occurring is unknown, as the individual ingredient quantities used in the supplement is not provided by the manufacturer.

Vinpocetine can cause some side effects including stomach pain, nausea, sleep disturbances, headache, dizziness, nervousness, and flushing of the face.

Reported side effects of Sulbutiamine include nausea, headache, tiredness, and inability to sleep.

Significant quantities of caffeine can cause side effects such as headaches, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations and problems sleeping. Consumers should avoid other sources of caffeine whilst taking this supplement to avoid increasing the chances of side effects developing. Consumers should also stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day, and should not taking this product in the late afternoon or evening. These measures will minimise the chances of side effects occurring.

DO NOT use if pregnant, breastfeeding or under the age of 18. Consult with a medical practitioner before taking this nutritional supplement, if you have or suspect a medical condition or are taking any medications or dietary supplements. If you experience any adverse reactions from taking this product, discontinue use immediately and contact a healthcare practitioner. Not suitable for anyone who is sensitive to caffeine and other stimulants. Not suitable for anyone with high blood pressure or any other cardiac-related health issues.

Any Neurodrive Reviews From Customers?

There are several customer reviews for Neurodrive on the official sale website.

Perfect. Serves it purpose perfectly, I am a professional video gamer and I’ve never had as much focus in-game as I had when I tested out NeuroDrive. Definitely brought my game to the next level, and I highly recommend it!

Effective. Really effective clean mind energy awesome for gaming, school and every day life.Really cleans your thoughts and brain.

This is awesome. Clean energy, lowered anxiety, better mood.

There are also numerous reviews for the company who manufacture Neurodrive on TrustPilot. Generally the reviews are positive, with an overall average rating of 7.3 out of 10. However, there are some complaints about the declining quality of customer service, with some customers never receiving the products that they have ordered and paid for.

I got the neurostim and neurodrive….Long story short i felt nothing, no focus,no motivation. The only thing I felt was irritation. After a week or so i ended up feeling really sick and didn’t feel the same mentally for over a month after. The entire month i was extremely mentally fatigued and had bad anxiety. This all happened after taking it every day for over a week. What is in those supplements are not approved by the FDA so i would be careful.

It used to be a good website with fast shipping and service and I have ordered from them quite a number of times. But I have noticed since last year, their standard of service has dropped. Their shipping was slow. I ordered a product and a week later, I did not hear anything from them. I emailed them but there was no response. Posted on their forum regarding a product that is always out of stock for more than half a year but their admin didn’t bother to reply. All I can say is, forget about this website, you can find better suppliers with better shipping and customer services out there.

No delivery, no response to contact. I placed an order and have not received it nor have I had any responses from them regarding my order

Neurodrive is available from the official Mind Nutrition website. On the UK website, a single bottle of 60 capsules costs £27.55, while a single bottle of 30 capsules costs £14.95. The smaller bottle was out of stock at the time of writing, and the expected date that it would be available again had already passed. The larger bottle of 60 capsules is still in stock. Delivery charges may apply.

On the US website, a bottle of 30 capsules costs $30.95.

The product is also available from Enhanced Nutrition, where a bottle containing 30 capsules costs £18.95 plus delivery charges.

A bottle of 30 capsules will only last around 15 days, and so, although an individual bottle is cheap, the cost of using the product in the long run is slightly higher.
