Below we take an in-depth look at Neuro Enhance to see how effective it is at improving memory, focus and concentration and at boosting cognitive function.
NeuroEnhance has an identical ingredients list to another nootropic supplement called NeuroAlert, but is much cheaper. There are over 3000 customer reviews for NeuroEnhance on amazon, but only 100 of them are verified purchases, leading us to heavily suspect that the company is offering free bottles in exchange for customers leaving reviews making the majority of customer reviews heavily biased.
There are numerous side effects that could be caused by the various ingredients found in NeuroEnhance, which we have gone through in more detail in the side effects section below. We have found reports of customers experiencing itchy skin, ‘tingles’, headaches, and stomach aches.
NeuroEnhance appears to be a very cheap supplement, with a single bottle costing only $18.99 plus shipping. Each bottle contains 60 capsules, and will last between 30 and 60 days of use depending upon the daily dosage used.
Overall, we have a mixed opinion about NeuroEnhance. The product is available exclusively through amazon, and the manufacturers do not have an official website, or provide much information about themselves at all. However, the supplement is incredibly cheap compared to other nootropic supplements.
As for the product itself, there are some ingredients present in NeuroEnhance that have promising clinical support to suggest that they could help to boost cognitive function, memory and focus. However, there are also some ingredients that have no clinical support at all, or only have clinical support from preliminary trials or those associated with Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients. Just because an ingredient helps to treat an Alzheimer’s patient, does not mean that it will benefit a healthy consumer.
The customer reviews are somewhat controversial; despite the product being available exclusively from amazon, over 95% of the customer reviews are not verified purchases, as the company has sent out free or discounted products in exchange for reviews. A significant minority (25%) of the verified reviews are negative, with some consumers noticing no results or developing side effects.
Overall, we do not recommend NeuroEnhance to our readers.

NeuroEnhance is a nootropic supplement designed to improve focus, to support memory retention, and to improve clarity and mood.
It is not clear who manufactures NeuroEnhance. The label suggests that the manufacturing company is also called NeuroEnhance, and that this is their only product. They can be contacted using the phone number on the back of the bottle, or using the contact us box on myneuroenhance.com. The company list a PO Box as their address, concealing the location of their actual office headquarters. The company appears to be based in Los Angeles.
Directions for use are as follows: As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily. Do not exceed two (2) capsules per day, or take as directed by your healthcare professional.
NeuroEnhance has an almost identical ingredients list to another nootropic supplement that we have previously reviewed, called NeuroAlert. The only difference that we could see is that NeuroEnhance contains a proprietary formula, whereas the manufacturers of NeuroAlert do provide the individual ingredient quantities. The individual ingredient quantities of NeuroAlert even total the amount of proprietary formula found in NeuroEnhance.
Sometimes a manufacturing company will have fixed formulas, which they sell onto other companies, letting them choose their own branding. This highlights the importance of shopping around for the best nootropic supplement for the individual! NeuroAlert only contains 30 capsules per bottle, whilst NeuroEnhance contains 60 capsules per bottle, and still remains the cheaper option, despite being exactly the same.
The manufacturers of NeuroEnhance state that the product has the following benefits:
There are numerous ingredients used in NeuroEnhance that should help to boost the consumer’s cognitive function, including Bacopa Monnieri, Vinpocetine and Phosphatidylserine. There are also ingredients that could reduce fatigue and improve mood in general.
Out of the customer reviews that are verified purchases, there are more positive reviews than negative, but there are a significant number of people who did not notice any results or who developed side effects while taking the supplement. Some of the ingredients could potentially become less effective over continued use, but others, especially Bacopa Monnieri need to be used for a prolonged period for the effects to build up.
Overall, we believe that NeuroEnhance could potentially aid cognitive function if the ingredients are used in therapeutic doses. However, as the individual ingredient quantities are not provided, it is difficult to establish this for certain.
The ingredients used in NeuroEnhance are detailed below. The product contains a proprietary formula, and so not all of the individual ingredient quantities are listed. Each serving of one capsules contains 50 mg of Ginkgo Biloba, as well as 727 mg of the proprietary formula.
Proprietary Formula 727 mg
There are numerous ingredients present in NeuroEnhance that could cause a range of side effects.
L-Carnitine can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, heartburn, diarrhoea, and seizures. It can also cause the urine, breath, and sweat to have a “fishy” odour.
Studies have shown that Bacopa leaf causes upset stomachs in participants much more than placebos. This has led to the recommendation that this ingredient be taken with a meal, rather than on an empty stomach, as this will minimise the chances of getting an upset stomach. It may also may cause nausea, cramping, bloating, and diarrhoea.
DMAE can cause constipation, itching, headache, drowsiness, insomnia, excitation, vivid dreams, confusion, depression, increased blood pressure, an increase in schizophrenia symptoms, and unwanted movements of the face and mouth.
Vinpocetine can cause some side effects including stomach pain, nausea, sleep disturbances, headache, dizziness, nervousness, and flushing of the face.
Side effects of Phosphatidylserine can include insomnia and stomach upset, particularly at doses over 300 mg. It can be made from either plant or animal sources, and so may not be suitable for vegetarians.
Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. Not suitable for anyone who is taking any medications, whether prescription or over the counter. Avoid use in couples who are trying to conceive, based on theoretical reduction of fertility. Individuals taking MAO Inhibiting Drugs, or with a known medical condition should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement. St. John’s Wort may contribute to photosensitivity resulting in skin irritation and redness in persons exposed to strong sunlight or tanning booths. Avoid in patients at risk of bleeding, taking anticoagulants, or with clotting disorders, based on case reports of bleeding. Discontinue use 2-3 weeks prior to some surgical and dental procedures due to increased risk of bleeding. Use cautiously in patients with history of seizure, based on reports of seizure due to Ginkgo seed ingestion.
If you are unsure about the suitability of this nootropic supplement, or any other supplement, consult your doctor before purchase.
Of over 3000 customer reviews that have been left on amazon, less than one hundred are verified purchases. To us, this looks incredibly suspicious, especially as the product can only be purchased from amazon. Reading through the customer reviews, it is clear that the company have given many customers free or discounted products in exchange for a review; whether the company ask for a positive review specifically is unclear, but this is a practice that we do not approve of. In our experience, customers are far more likely to leave a positive review if they have been given the product for free!
The reviews below are ‘verified purchases’ but even here some people received a discount or got the product for free.
I took this product for 3 days, once a day as recommended. Through my day, I didn’t notice an actual effect on my mind, memory, or anything. but when I laid to sleep (no caffeine, no preworkout, nothing at all in my system aside from this product ), and I began getting horrific itches and tingles in my body. It felt more like something was biting me or cutting into me. I checked for any bugs or allergens in my bed, sheets, room, etc. and there was nothing. I’m familiar with tingles and flushes from beta alanine and similar things, but this was nothing like that. It felt horrific and happened on every occasion. I stopped taking this immediately and no longer experience that sensation.
I honestly think this product will work for some people. For me however, it give me a severe headache about 2 hours after taking it, every time! I suffered an entire week through them, because it gave me a fairly positive effect at first. It gave me a slight boost in energy and I felt like I could retain more a little faster. I wish this didn’t give me such a severe headache. Sigh, oh well, onto the next one…
This was a waste of my time and money. I bought these pills for me and my boyfriend and they didn’t do anything at all. Didn’t few a thing. Very useless. I should have saved my money God knows I should. I regret every bit.
I received this product for free or at a discount for my honest review. I ordered this product to see if it would help me with my brain fog (forgetfulness). The first day i was surprised that I didn’t feel so brain fogged and i could remember things a lot better. I been taking this for a week or so now and really have enjoyed the benefits of the product. It really has boosted my brain and has help me to remember all the little things I need to get done! So far I haven’t had any negative side effects.
Social: You will do great socially.
Exercise: This product will not do anything for you in terms of physical energy. It is an herbal formula that helps with your cognitive abilities only.
Getting Things Done: You may notice a boost in this area in the first couple of days. But, once your body and mind get used to it the impact is minimal.
Reading and Memorizing: I felt that I could read better but I was hindered in the area of memorizing.
Speaking: If you speak in front of small or large groups of people you will do great.
Sleep: This product should not impact your sleep which is why I gave it 4 stars. This is huge for a brain booster as many of them hinder your sleep which kind of defeats the point.
Anxiety: This category is the reason why I only give it 4 stars. I didn’t feel great. I noticed myself getting more paranoid then normal which is not good for us to thrive on a day to day basis. So, since it doesn’t make me feel great, I’m only giving it 4 stars.
My husband has been taking these for a week now. I wanted to wait to write a review until we knew if and how well these worked. I am so happy to say that he truly believes these are helping him greatly. He works 12+ hrs a day in an office as a manager and has so many things going on and so many responsibilities but he has ADD and sometimes it’s hard for him to focus and stay focused for long periods of time. He has seen great improvement since starting these. I have noticed his short term memory seems better too. Usually he has a hard time remembering things that I tell him or that happened the day before. Because he’s always so busy he has a hard time remembering little things. I’ve seen improvement this last week and expect it will keep improving taking these. The only thing he has said about these pills are that he wishes they weren’t so big. I received this product free or at a discount for my unbiased review.
