What You Need To Know About Nooflow

Nooflow is a nootropic supplement designed to improve memory and general cognitive functioning. Although the product contains no caffeine, the manufacturers recommend avoiding use in the evenings, as the product is designed to stimulate the mind, and could still interfere with sleep patterns.

What Are The Side Effects Of Nooflow?

Some of the ingredients found in Nooflow could potentially cause a range of side effects. There is no mention of side effects occurring in the few customer reviews that exist.

Several ingredients in Nooflow could cause headaches, nausea, and various digestive complaints including stomach aches and diarrhoea. A more detailed list of potential side effects is available below under the Side Effects tab.

How Much Does Nooflow Cost?

Nooflow can be purchased from the official Nooflow website, where a single bottle containing 60 capsules costs €59.00. The website states that they offer free worldwide shipping.

There is a discount available for bulk purchases (of two or three bottles). However, first-time customers should remember that the returns policy only covers the first order made, and only if they purchase a single bottle.

Each bottle provides a 30-day supply if taking two capsules per day. However, the directions for use state that consumers can increase the dosage to up to four capsules per day if needed, which would obviously mean that a bottle will not last for as long. Compared with similar nootropics on the market, this is a very expensive nootropic supplement.

Our Verdict On Nooflow

Many of the ingredients found in Nooflow could improve various elements of cognition, including improving memory. Some ingredients such as theanine and withania somnifera could help to improve mood and reduce anxiety. There are some ingredients such as grape seed extract that appear to have no known cognitive benefits.

The available customer reviews are all positive, and there is no mention of any side effects occurring. However, there is a long list of side effects that could be caused by the ingredients used in Nooflow. Taking the supplement after eating reduces the chances of side effects occurring, especially digestive issues.

The product is not covered by a money-back guarantee, and the returns policy is incredibly restrictive. However, it is valid for 60 days from the date of dispatch.

Overall, we do not recommend Nooflow to our readers.

What Does Nooflow Claim To Do?

The manufacturers of Nooflow describe the supplement as a premium nootropic with an extensive list of benefits. These include improved memory and cognitive function, enhanced mood and social skills (particularly decreased anxiety), increased energy levels, improved learning capabilities, and reduced stress. The product is also reputed to protect your brain against oxidative stress and free radicals.

The manufacturers also state that the ingredients list has been selected as they work synergistically for greater effect.

Does Nooflow Work?

Nooflow contains numerous ingredients that could potentially offer some nootropic benefits. Bacopa could help to improve memory, especially when taken regularly over time. Alpha-GPC and Phosphatidylserine could both improve cognition and help combat cognitive decline.

What Are The Ingredients of Nooflow?

The ingredients found in Nooflow are detailed below. Ingredient quantities listed are per single serving of two capsules.

  • Alpha-GPC (100%) 125 mg: In Europe, alpha-GPC is a prescription medication for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, but in the USA it is a prescription free dietary supplement. It appears to have some cognitive-boosting properties, helps to prevent cognitive decline, and could enhance power output in athletes. Source
  • Uridine 150 mg: This nucleotide base appears to have the potential to improve cognitive function and reduce the symptoms of depression. Recommended dosages fall between 500mg and 1000mg, much more than is found here. Source
  • Lycopodium Serratum 1 mg [5% Huperzine HPLC, equivalent to 15 mcg Huperzine A]: Huperzine-A is thought to be a cognitive enhancer. Previous studies have found it to be effective as a memory enhancer for adults suffering with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Because of the relatively long half-life of this compound, its use should be cycled, with breaks in usage every few weeks. Source
  • Bacopa Monnieri 150 mg: Used to reduce anxiety and improve memory. It also seems to have a minor ability to improve mild anxiety, making it a general mood booster. The effects can take time to achieve a noticeable level, as the effects appear to accumulate with repeated use. Source
  • Withania Somnifera 250 mg: More commonly known as Ashwagandha, this Indian herb has a deserved reputation for combating anxiety and is known to relieve stress and improve mood in a general sense. Source
  • Grape Seed Extract [Vitis Vinifera: 95% Proanthocyanidins] 100 mg: Proanthocyanidins are a type of polyphenol (a sub-group of antioxidants), that are thought to boost the immune system and may have anti-inflammatory properties. We were unable to find any known nootropic benefits of this ingredient. Source
  • N-Acetyl L-Carnitine HCl 250 mg: There is some evidence that supplementation of acetyl-l-carnitine can reduce body fat, although the strongest results were seen in the elderly. The ingredient also boosts energy levels and is used to treat fatigue. Source
  • L-Theanine 125 mg: This amino acid is found in green tea, and may increase feelings of relaxation. It may also reduce the negative side effects of caffeine, although there is seemingly no clinical evidence to support this claim. Source
  • L-Tyrosine 200 mg: An amino acid that is a building block of protein. In existing trials, L-Tyrosine appears to effectively improve cognition and memory during stressful periods. Source
  • Phosphatidylserine [20% concentration] 150 mg: Several studies with phosphatidylserine indicate improved cognitive abilities and behaviours, but the studies focused on Alzheimer’s patients. The FDA has stated that Phosphatidylserine may reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction and dementia in the elderly. Source
  • Selenium 100 mcg (143% RDV)
  • Vitamin B6 5 mg (250% RDV)
  • Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid) 750 mcg (187% RDV)
  • Vitamin B12 15 mcg (250% RDV)

Does Nooflow Have Any Side Effects?

Some of the ingredients found in Nooflow could potentially cause a range of side effects.

A-GPC can cause side effects in some people including heartburn, headache, insomnia, dizziness, skin rash, and confusion.

Uridine can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Although Tyrosine is tolerated generally in very high doses, it can cause some side effects including nausea, headache, fatigue, heartburn, and joint pain.

Grape seed extract can cause headaches, itchy scalp, dizziness, and nausea. It may also affect blood pressure.

Studies have shown that Bacopa Monnieri can cause upset stomachs in participants much more than placebos. This has led to the recommendation that this ingredient is taken with a meal, rather than on an empty stomach, as this will minimize the chances of getting an upset stomach. It may also cause nausea, cramping, bloating, and diarrhoea.

Huperzine A can cause a range of side effects including digestive issues, stomach issues, blurred vision, loss of appetite, sweating, cramping, high blood pressure and other issues. The likelihood of side effects occurring increases when the supplement is taken for a prolonged period of time, and cycling the product (with a break in use every four weeks or so) is recommended to reduce the chances of side effects occurring.

L-Carnitine can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, heartburn, diarrhoea, and seizures. It can also cause the urine, breath, and sweat to have a “fishy” odour.

Withania somnifera supplementation might cause stomach upset, diarrhoea, and vomiting, especially when taken in large doses.

Side effects of Phosphatidylserine can include insomnia and stomach upset, particularly at doses over 300 mg. It can be made from either plant or animal sources, and so may not be suitable for vegetarians.

Caution:

Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. If you are unsure about the suitability of this supplement for you, consult your doctor before purchase. If you are taking any medications, either prescription or over the counter, consult your doctor before purchase. Not suitable for people with high or low blood pressure.

As a student, I can say that this product helped me a great deal! I couldn’t recommend it enough. My only criticism will be it’s a little expensive however the supplement is actually well worth it.

I actually got Nooflow hoping that it would help with my brain fog and memory. After taking it for some time I do have improvement with both and hope to see a lot more. I’m happy with the way it works, thank you!

Does Nooflow Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

Nooflow is not covered by any money-back guarantee. The manufacturer’s returns policy lasts for 60 days from the date of dispatch. It is not clear whether or not they accept opened bottles for return. However, they will only accept returns if it is the customer’s first order of Nooflow, and if you only ordered a single bottle. Customers need to contact the company to get an RMA number before sending any products back to them (and the RMA number needs to be provided within the parcel). The returns address and full terms and conditions are provided on the official Nooflow website.

Where Can I Buy Nooflow?

A single bottle containing 60 capsules costs €59.00. An order of two bottles (referred to as double packaging) costs €99.00. An order of three bottles (referred to as triple packaging) costs €129.00.
