Below we take an in-depth look at Optibiotics, to see what benefits this nootropic supplement offers consumers.
Optibiotics is a nootropic supplement designed to help combat a lack of focus or mental clarity, and to improve memory. Consumers are instructed to take this supplement five days a week and to take a two day break.
There are several ingredients in Optibiotics that could potentially cause a range of side effects.
Huperzine A can cause a range of side effects including digestive issues, stomach issues, blurred vision, loss of appetite, sweating, cramping, high blood pressure, and other issues. The likelihood of side effects occurring increases when the supplement is taken for a prolonged period of time, and cycling the product (with a break in use every four weeks or so) is recommended to reduce the chances of side effects occurring.
Rhodiola Rosea can cause side effects including dry mouth, blood pressure changes, dizziness, and anxiety. Although some studies have suggested that Rhodiola Rosea can help to reduce anxiety, some people have actually reported the opposite effect in other trials. Rhodiola rosea can cause or worsen anxiety symptoms such as restlessness, irritability, tachycardia, panic, and mood swings. These problems may be most pronounced in people who are sensitive to stimulants such as caffeine and yohimbine. Avoid taking rhodiola near bedtime, since it may worsen anxiety-related insomnia.
Side effects that can be caused by DMAE include constipation, itching, headache, drowsiness, insomnia, excitation, vivid dreams, confusion, depression, increased blood pressure, an increase in schizophrenia symptoms, and unwanted movements of the face and mouth.
Ginkgo Biloba is generally thought to be safe, but may cause some minor issues; these include stomach upset, constipation, headache, dizziness, a pounding heartrate, and allergic skin reactions.
Studies have shown that Bacopa leaf, also known as Bacopin, causes upset stomachs in participants much more than placebos. This has led to the recommendation that this ingredient be taken with a meal, rather than on an empty stomach, as this will minimize the chances of getting an upset stomach. It may also may cause nausea, cramping, bloating, and diarrhoea.
Optibiotics can be purchased from the official Optibiotics Labs website, where a single bottle costs $38.95. It is also sold by Amazon, where a single bottle costs $44.95, plus delivery charges.
A single bottle contains 40 capsules, which is 20 servings. Consumers are instructed to only take the supplement for five days out of every week, and so a single bottle will last for 28 days (four weeks) of use.
There are numerous ingredients in this supplement that could potentially offer some nootropic benefits. However, some of the ingredients have only been studied in people with dementia; Phosphatidylserine and Huperzine A, for example, have not been tested in cognitively healthy consumers to see whether or not they still offer benefits in those circumstances.

Customer reviews are limited, but generally very positive. Fakespot suggests that around half of these reviews are suspicious.

Optibiotics is a nootropic supplement designed to help combat a lack of focus or mental clarity, and to improve memory. The supplement is contained in a soft gel capsule for increased bioavailability.
Optibiotics is manufactured by Optibiotics Lab, a company based in the USA. They can be contacted using the information provided on their official website. Although the company have an FAQ page on their website, it is not filled out.
The manufacturers provide the following description of Optibiotics’ benefits:
There are several ingredients found in Optibiotics that could potentially offer various nootropic benefits.
Bacopa Monnieri needs to be taken daily for an effect to build up over time, but some of the other ingredients could cause a general improvement in energy levels and mental clarity shortly after taking the supplement. There are other ingredients in this supplement that have little or no clinical support for their use as nootropic supplements, such as DMAE Bitartrate.
Bacopa Monnieri reduces anxiety and improves memory. Rhodiola could reduce fatigue after exercise (allowing quicker recovery times), and could also improve endurance. Huperzine and Phosphatidylserine both offer cognitive benefits for people suffering with Dementia, but have not been studied in cognitively healthy consumers – they may offer some benefits, but there is no available evidence from clinical trials to confirm this yet.
Theanine may help to induce a feeling of calm, and could curb the potential side effects of caffeine. Although caffeine is not present in this supplement, it is found in coffee, tea, and energy drinks.
Ginkgo Biloba could increase circulation, which theoretically could improve alertness by increasing blood flow to the brain.
The ingredients found in Optibiotics are detailed below. The ingredient quantities listed below are per serving of two capsules.

There are numerous customer reviews for Optibiotics on Amazon, one of the websites that sells the supplement.
I bought this product, I had high expectations I almost finish a bottle I have focus, I didn’t feel any recall or memory at all. I give 3 stars because the product didn’t reach my expectation at all. I’ll recommended if some people need focus that all.
Have been taking for two weeks with little effect. Pills are huge in size so if that’s an issue for you, stay clear of this. They have a sweet taste though. Will update if effects change. Otherwise it’s just…eh.
The product gave me headaches after using it for the 3rd or 4th day. I was rootin for this to help me out. The product have a bit of a sweet taste and it’s not hard to swallow. I was hoping to give the company a 5 because of all the great ratings. I didn’t feel a difference either so I’m not sure how long the product needs to be taken before realizing that they do help. I will be requesting a refund because I don’t want to keep having these headaches behind them.
Did nothing for me and was expensive.
I’m not really sure if the product really helps to focus. It does give you a boost of energy though.
I have used these supplements for about a week now and I really enjoy them they seem to take away the fogginess I got through the days sometimes and keeps my mind sharp I use this before work and it gets me through the day.
Arrived quickly and immediately noticed a difference in my energy and focus. Really like so far.
OMG!! I can’t wait to try this. It has all of the ingredients in it that I need to help give me that boost that I need to get through the afternoon at work. I love the clear bottle. It reminds me of a ray of sunshine!!! This is a nice bottle I’ll want to keep. My friend tried it and says he can take it with his coffee with no problem.
