Rockstar Calm Gal Overview

What You Need To Know About Rockstar Calm Gal

Rockstar Calm Gal is advertised as an anti-anxiety supplement that will help to lower cortisol levels and keep stress levels under control. However, it also contains numerous ingredients that are typically associated with weight loss supplements (but have a lack of clinical support). Rockstar Calm Gal’s ingredients list bears striking similarities to other products in the Rockstar range, including Happy Gal and Sleepy Gal.

What Are The Side Effects Of Rockstar Calm Gal?

The ingredient quantities used in Rockstar Calm Gal are small, which does reduce the chances of side effects occurring in theory. However, side effects could still develop, especially if a consumer is sensitive to any of the active ingredients.

Potential side effects of Valerian root include headache, excitability, uneasiness, and even insomnia in some people. A few people feel sluggish in the morning after taking valerian, especially at higher doses.

How Much Does Rockstar Calm Gal Cost?

A bottle of Rockstar Calm Gal costs $29.95 plus delivery charges. It is available from both the manufacturer’s official website and from Amazon. Each bottle contains 60 capsules.

Our Verdict On Rockstar Calm Gal

The manufacturers of this supplement, Rockstar Sports Nutrition, are a company obsessed with selling products without actually giving much to the consumer in return. We have already exposed how they pass off one single formula as numerous “different” supplements here, and here we discussed how they violate Amazon’s reviews policy by offering free products in exchange for reviews. They offer no money-back guarantee, and their returns policy is worded in such a way that getting a refund seems unlikely at best.

As with the other Rockstar supplements that we have reviewed, the ingredient quantities used in this product are incredibly low, to the point where it seems unlikely that the product offers any actual benefit. Some of the ingredients used such as Ashwagandha could act as mood boosters and anti-stress supplements, but the quantities are too small to actually offer any benefits. Many of the ingredients used are not related to stress or anxiety in any way.

Overall, we do not recommend Rockstar Clam Gal to our readers.

What Are The Ingredients of Rockstar Calm Gal?

The ingredients found in Rockstar Calm Gal are detailed below. Some individual ingredient quantities are provided, but the product also features a proprietary formula. The ingredient quantities are given in micrograms instead of milligrams, which makes them seem like larger doses than they actually are.

  • Lavender Flower Extract 30,000mcg (30mg): Known to reduce anxiety. Lavender scent (in aromatherapy) appears to improve sleep quality, but it is unclear whether supplementing lavender will have the same effect. Source
  • Schizandra Berry Powder 30,000mcg (30mg): This berry is used as an ‘adaptogen’, increasing the body’s resistance to disease and stress. It is also used to stimulate the immune system and for improving liver function. Source
  • Peppermint Leaf (Mentha piperita) 20,000mcg (20mg): Used to treat digestive problems, IBS, gas, and the common cold, as well as sinus infections. Source
  • Valerian Root Extract 15,000mcg (15mg): Can be used to treat insomnia, as it is a mild sedative. Source
  • Elderberry Extract (Sambucus) 10,000mcg (10mg): A source of antioxidants, specifically flavonoids which could benefit the body’s immune system (which explains why they were used in folk medicine to treat colds and flu). Source
  • Biotin 10,000mcg (10mg) (33,333% RDA): A vitamin that could improve the strength of hair and nails, amongst other benefits. Source
  • Ashwagandha Powder 5,000mcg (5mg): This Indian herb has a deserved reputation for combating anxiety, and is known to relieve stress and improve mood in a general sense. Source

Proprietary Blend 190mg

  • Turmeric Powder Organic: Turmeric contains Curcumin, which is thought to have numerous benefits, including soothing an upset stomach and reducing inflammation. However, a recent review of Turmeric studies found that its benefits have been greatly overhyped by the media. No double-blinded, placebo-controlled clinical trial of curcumin has been successful. Source
  • Ginkgo Biloba Leaves Powder: Appears to improve circulation, and may help to kill bacteria in the body that could cause infections, although it is used as a herbal remedy to treat a range of ailments. Source
  • African Mango Extract (Irvingia gabonensis): One specific extract of African mango, IGOB131, may suppress the appetite and aid with weight loss, according to preliminary trials. However, it is unclear whether or not this extract is used in this supplement. Source
  • Milk Thistle Powder: Milk thistle is usually used to treat liver disorders and liver damage. It is also thought to treat heartburn, allergy symptoms, and can be used as a means of stimulating menstrual flow. It can also act as a laxative. Source
  • Bacopa Monnieri (std. to 20% bacosides): Bacopa Monnieri is used to reduce anxiety, improve memory, and seems to have a minor ability to treat depression, making it a general mild mood booster. The effects can take time to achieve a noticeable level, as the effects appear to accumulate with repeated use. Daily recommended dosage is 300 mg per day. Source
  • Raspberry Ketone: Whilst there is a small amount of evidence that raspberry ketones can cause weight loss in rats, there have never been any human trials on the potential weight loss effects of raspberry ketone. Source
  • Garcinia Cambogia Fruit Extract (std. to 50% Hydroxycitric acid): Test tube and animal research suggest that HCA, the active compound in Garcinia Cambogia, may be helpful in weight loss because of its effects on metabolism. However, numerous studies in humans have found it has no effect upon either appetite or metabolic rate. Source
  • Artichoke (Flower Head)
  • Beet Root Powder: Beets appear to raise the levels of Nitric Oxide in the body, and existing early research suggests that it can help to fight fatty deposits in the bloodstream and liver. Source
  • Dandelion Root Powder: This plant is primarily used as an effective diuretic and laxative. Source
  • Alpha-Lipoic Acid (sodium): This ingredient is a potent antioxidant compound that works with the mitochondria in the cells. Supplementation could help to protect against the various diseases of aging. It also appears to suppress the appetite by inhibiting AMPK in the hypothalamus, although little research has been conducted in humans at this point. Source
  • Jujube Extract: This seed may possess anxiety reducing and sedative properties. It may also act as a laxative. Source
  • L-Glutamine: This is an essential amino acid, which is a building block of protein. Source
  • Hoodia Gordonii: This plant extract was eaten traditionally in the South African bush to stave off hunger. There is little clinical evidence to actually prove that it works as an appetite suppressant, and far more studies that show that the product is ineffective and unsafe, frequently causing a wide range of side effects. Source
  • Inositol Powder: Appears to treat anxiety when used in high doses. It may also improve insulin resistance and other metabolic markers of metabolic syndrome, including cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Source
  • Black Raspberry Extract (Rubus occidentalis)

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Rockstar Calm Gal?

There are numerous customer reviews for this product on Amazon. The majority have been left by Vine Voice reviewers (who received the product for free), whilst the rest of the reviews are unverified.

Feel like this is a bit of snake oil… No change in mind, mood, etc.

The effect is mild. Verrrry mild. If you are dealing with major stress, anxiety or depression these are not going to fix you up. The biggest thing that I noticed was slight drowsiness, probably because of the valerian. Dosage is supposed to be one but I don’t notice any effect from one. It takes two for it to work… …I’ll probably use the bottle up but I doubt that I would get the ever again.
