Shredz is a US company based in New Jersey that mainly focuses on bodybuilding and weight loss supplements, so as Shredz Focus is the company’s only nootropic supplement it appears to be a change from their normal range. Shredz is extremely active on social media, especially Instagram and Twitter where customers are encouraged to use the hashtags #ShredzArmy and #SHREDZ.
Shredz Focus is a nootropic supplement that comes in two varieties; Shredz Focus for Men and Shredz Focus Made for Women. The two supplements look pretty similar but in our opinion Shredz Focus for Men looks like the safest option for both sexes, as the female version contains Agnus Castus as a principle ingredient which is known for hormonal side effects. That said Shredz Focus does not look very impressive. It may help perk you up thanks to the caffeine but without accurate ingredients information and the lack of clinical evidence, combined with the high price, there are certainly better supplements on the market.
Potential side effects may include; insomnia, jitteriness, anxiety, stomach cramps, nausea, increased bowel movements, headaches, fatigue, and joint pain.
Shredz Focus for Men may cause; headaches, allergies, heart palpitations, dizziness, and diarrhoea.
Shredz Focus Made for Women may cause; upset stomach, weight gain, nausea, menstrual bleeding, acne, and insomnia.
Shredz Focus is expensive. Buy from the Shredz website and it costs $50.00 for 60 capsules (30 servings or a month’s supply). This is advertised as a discount price.
Shredz Focus Made for Women is no longer available from the official Shredz website.
You can find Shredz Focus for Men is also on sale via Amazon USA for $54.63.
Shredz Focus Made for Women is no longer on sale via Amazon. It used to be available as part as a stack of products but seems to have been discontinued.
Shredz Focus is not very impressive as a nootropic supplement, but the male version looks better in our opinion than the so called female friendly version. Shredz Focus Made for Women contains Agnus Castus – not a nootropic ingredient at all but a herb that affects hormones, and it is typical that a nootropic aimed at women looks to redress hormonal chemicals rather than brain chemicals – which is rather insulting when you think of it.
That said only the Shredz Focus for Men seems to be now available, and although it is described as a male supplement, there is nothing at all gender specific about this supplement.
All things considered, Shredz Focus does not actually look much good. The ingredients profile is incomplete and the price is expensive. Not only that, if women want to buy they must face the indignity of buying a supplement touted for men and in (shock horror) a manly red bottle. We wouldn’t bother with Shredz Focus. This supplement seems extremely overpriced and offers very little in return.
Overall, we do not recommend Shredz Focus to our readers.

Nootropic supplements, nutritional supplements that boost brainpower, are becoming increasingly popular right now with many supplement sellers including a few nootropic supplements as part of their range. Shredz is following this trend and although this company is known for dieting, weight loss, and bodybuilding products, now you can add supplements for enhanced brain power to the list.
Shredz Focus is available in two products; Shredz Focus for Men and Shredz Focus Made for Women. It is easy to tell the difference between the two; Focus for Men is packaged in a manly white and red canister, whereas Focus Made for Women has the lettering in pink.
The other difference comes down to one ingredient. Focus Made for Women contains a herbal ingredient called Chaste Berry, which sounds suitably feminine. In the Men’s version Chaste Berry is replaced by the well known stimulant Gingko Biloba.
Apart from that the formulae look identical. The supplements contain caffeine and amino acids L Theanine (which is actually present in tea) and L Tyrosine, which is present in cheese and is known to have an energising effect when taken in supplement form.
Both supplements contain Bacopa Monnieri a natural extract that looks extremely promising as a nootropic, and Gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) again a nootropic ingredient that may be effective. Check out the ingredients tab to find out more about the individual components of this supplement.
Shredz is a US company based in New Jersey but operating solely online. Company CEO Arvin Lal has built the company via social media and getting customers involved in a young and vibrant looking fitness company. It is pretty convincing but if you look behind the Lycra clad models and instagram pics, the supplements are not quite as good as the hype. There are gaps in product information and in our opinion if you are buying a supplement online it is important to know exactly what it contains. This is not the case here.
Industry sources describe Shredz as a direct marketing company. However it seems different to most because you have to apply with a resume, and there is no real hard sell opportunity touted all over the official website. There is no price structure for everyone to see, and we have been unable to see the company levels or what you can hope to achieve. However apply to be a Shredz Master Coach, and you are promised $70,000 a year. There are also wholesale opportunities available.
We covered Shredz Fat Burner for Women in a previous review on our sister site, Diet Pills Watchdog.
According to the product information, there are four key features of this supplement. It will help you;
The advertising states that,
Shredz Focus optimizes the way you think, this innovative formula supports both alertness and focus, so that you can place your attention on the things that matter most, while reducing the amount of errors you make. Make the right decision. Make work your play. Get the job done
These claims for Shredz Focus for Men and Shredz Focus made for women are identical.
It’s hard to say just what this supplement will do. Caffeine of course is known for perking you up and increasing focus, although you could just try an occasional cup of coffee for the same effect. Theanine is present in tea and will relax and energise you, so you could try drinking an occasional cup of tea. Will this supplement work as well as drinking coffee and occasionally drinking tea? It is impossible to say.
The other ingredients look OK although unproven, but the big question comes down to the strength of each ingredient – basic information that should have been provided but wasn’t.
Serving size is equal to two capsules.
Both the male version and the female version of this supplement contain the following ingredients;
Shredz Proprietary Blend (26omg): The following ingredients make up the proprietary blend in unknown quantities.
The Male version of this supplement also contains;
The Female version contains;

There are a few customer reviews for Shredz Focus on Amazon and opinion is mixed.
This couple have tried both versions of the supplement, and are happy.
I take the women’s version and have loved it so of course I purchased this for my husband. He likes both products as he works 3rd shift and the focus really helps out on those extra tired days
This man likened it to prescription drug Adderall, (we guess that’s a good thing!)
There it is. The legal version of Adderall. I just wish it was a little cheaper but it works so I guess you get what you pay for.
This man was disappointed,
I’ve been taking this for a week now! Probably the only Shredz product I don’t like! IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING SAVE YOUR MONEY ITS CRAP!!
Shredz Focus Made for Women is only available as part of a stack of products for weight loss, and nobody has bothered to pick this particular one out over the others.
There is no money back guarantee. We searched through the terms and conditions and found that “refund requests will only be considered if the respective dietary supplement is unused, unopened, and in the original packaging.”
In addition you have to pay extra to return products,
A restocking fee will be charged for all returned items; this will be deducted from the total refund/store credit being issued: $10.00 restocking fee for returned supplements
You can buy Shredz Focus via the official Shredz site, although at the time of writing only Shredz Focus for Men is available. In our opinion this supplement looks safer than the so called female friendly version anyway.
Shredz Focus for men is also on sale via Amazon USA. However if you want to try Shredz Focus for Women you will have to buy it in combination with other Shredz products, which hardly seems worth it.
