SomaBiotix is a Utah based supplements company that sells two probiotic supplements both touted for digestive health, but with Prilogen seems to have ventured in the world of nootropics. This company has past form in signing up customers to hard to cancel auto ship contracts.
SomaBiotix Prilogen is a nootropic supplement that the makers say will keep you alert all day, but there is no real proof or scientific evidence that it will work in the way as described. And although Prilogen contains some currently hot nootropic ingredients such as Huperzine and Bacopa, there is no way of knowing the strength of any of the named ingredients in the proprietary blend, so it is hard to gauge the possible effects or side effects. Added concerns include the company’s past form in the use of hard to cancel auto ship scams.
Potential side effects may include many gastrointestinal side effects such as; nausea, vomiting diarrhoea, gas, increased bowel movements, and stomach cramps.
Other side effects may include; restlessness, blurred vision, cramps, urinary problems, high blood pressure, dry mouth, changes to heart rate, fatigue, and drowsiness.
SomaBiotix is only available direct from the official SomaBiotix website at the time of writing. It is expensive and customers are encouraged to buy bulk orders in order to get a price reduction.
At the time of writing there does not seem to be any issues with auto ship as was the case with earlier SomaBiotix sales policy.
We are not impressed with SomaBiotix Prilogen. This supplement does not provide adequate information for customers regarding the ingredients content, and is very unlikely to work in the way as described. Yes taking mineral and vitamin supplements can be good for long term health, but we cannot see this so called nootropic supplement making any difference to your mental performance. The nootropic formula includes some well known ingredients, but is not going to reflect any of the clinical research carried out on any of the individual components.
In addition, there is something very tricksy looking about SomaBiotix and the sister brand Nubiotix, which is run from the same address and has the same telephone number. There have been cases of auto billing scams carried out under both names and although this does not seem to be the case now, can we really trust that this company has changed?
Finally there is no money back guarantee and no customer feedback anywhere from anyone who has ever tried this supplement. This supplement does not seem popular or high profile and in our opinion, you can certainly find many better nootropic supplements on the market. Therefore, we do not recommend SomaBiotix Prilogen to our readers.
Containing ingredients that have been clinically tested and boasting a 30-day money-back guarantee, OmniMind is quickly rising to the top of the nootropic world.

SomaBiotix Prilogen falls into the nootropic category of supplements. Nootropics are becoming increasingly popular as more and more people look to support to their brain health.
Nootropics also known as smart drugs, or cognitive enhancers, are often drugs based on stimulants. However there has been research into plant based ingredients, vitamins, and amino acids which are supposed to enhance cognition, and fire up those brain chemicals and neuro receptors so that you can function more efficiently. Many nootropic supplements contain a blend of all these different types of ingredients.
SomaBiotix Prilogen contains a wide range of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin c, zinc, manganese, and selenium, and this part of the formula looks similar to many general health supplements on the market.
The nootropic side to the supplement is provided by the Synergistic and Proprietary Formulation, a proprietary blend of ingredients. This contains herbal extracts including Bacopa Monnieri, Vinponectin, and Huperzine A, all of which have been tested in research elsewhere for their effects upon brain function and look promising.
There is fish oil (DHA oil), choline – a natural chemical found in eggs and in the human brain, which is supposed to boost the acetylcholine levels in the brain. It contains DMAE Bitartrate which is believed to build choline levels, and may help the brain manufacture acetylcholine. Check out the ingredients section of the review for a complete breakdown of the various components of this formula.
Of course, with the nootropic ingredients combined in one proprietary blend it is impossible to judge the effectiveness of the individual ingredients because quantities are not provided. But this formula does contain many of the best known nootropic names, so at first glance it does look impressive.
Directions are not provided.
SomaBiotix seems to be fairly unknown company. The company deal only online, selling via the official website and on Amazon. A customer phone number and an address are provided.
What is odd is that SomaBiotix also trade under the name Nubiotix. The supplements on offer from both names are identical, so it doesn’t seem to make much sense to do this. In fact the Prilogen label carries both names.
Worryingly we have found numerous customer complaints about Nubiotix and SomaBiotix. Both names appeared to have been running an auto ship scam at different times, which has led to many customers being caught out in a hard to cancel contract where fresh supplies were delivered each month, and their credit cards billed automatically.
SomaBiotix does not appear to be still running this scam, but we advise customers to be on their guard when ordering SomaBiotix or Nubiotix supplements online.
As you can see the two addresses are identical.

According to the advertising you can,
“Give your day a needed boost with the all new SomaBiotix™ Prilogen Maximum Focus Formula.”
According to the advertising on the official SomaBiotix website this supplement provides Maximum Focus! And is an All Day Alert Formula
The Amazon advert, where it is advertised under the Nubiotix name says much the same thing,
Memory, Mental Clarity Boost Supplement – Mood Enhancer – Increased Alertness
There is no clinical evidence or any explanation just how this supplement will help you with this promised increased alertness.
Even though the advertising says very little, we think it is unlikely to work in the way as described. Although this supplement contains some well known names in nootropics, the precise formula is not provided so you will really have no idea of just what you are taking or how much.
The vitamin and mineral profile looks reasonable enough and although there is nothing here that will provide the advertised nootropic effect, it may help support health. That said some of the ingredients in the nootropic formula are known for side effects.
In our opinion the effects from this supplement may be unpredictable.
Serving size is equal to 2 capsules.
The vitamin and mineral profile is comprehensive, with all components in adequate servings which conform to RDA.
Synergistic and Proprietary Formulation (692mg): This part of the formula does not provide any ingredient quantities, and without this vital information it is hard to assess just how effective or safe any of these ingredients are likely to be.

No there are no customer reviews for SomaBiotix Prilogen. However we found SomaBiotix did feature on a complaints website, where many customers were complaining about being sucked into a hard to cancel auto ship program.
Here is what one poor woman had to say about it.
I’ve been trying to get off their list and stop the monthly auto pays for months now and can’t. When I try to call the 800 number on the bottles, I get any number of not related businesses from the 411 information line to a shipping company, to a local UT residence. It seems they randomly forward their phones. If anyone can provide me a sure fire way of getting off their mailing list and to stop the auto pays I would be forever grateful!
Many other people were having similar problems. Source
