What You Need To Know About Utmost Me Neuro Rest

Utmost Me Neuro Rest offers a combination of ingredients that calms your nerve, relaxes your muscles, and improves sleep quality by triggering the production of serotonin and melatonin. Unfortunately, many ingredients are under-dosed and Utmost Me Neuro Rest does not work as promised.

What Are The Side Effects Of Utmost Me Neuro Rest?

Utmost Me Neuro Rest claims that you are not going to experience any headaches or gastrointestinal problems, but that does not seem to be the case, especially considering customer reviews. Check out our “Side Effects” section for more details.

How Much Does Utmost Me Neuro Rest Cost?

You have to pay £29 to get a bottle of Neuro Rest. Each bottle contains 60 capsules.

Our Verdict On Utmost Me Neuro Rest

Utmost Me Neuro Rest claims to work by raising the levels of serotonin and melatonin in your body. Unfortunately, it does not work because it does not have enough of some important ingredients, such as 5-HTP, L-taurine, L-tryptophan, and even magnesium. A supplement that provides you with enough magnesium is going to work better than Neuro Rest, as it has very low dosages of magnesium, biotin, and other ingredients. Its high price may also be a deal breaker for many, and considering the fact that getting a refund is not easy, we believe you should avoid it in the first place.

Utmost Me Neuro Rest Review

Utmost Me Neuro Rest uses a combination of ingredients to make quick improvement in your sleep quality. Do those ingredients work together to deliver promised results? We do not think so really.

The neurotransmitter serotonin has many important functions, including a role in appetite, sleep, learning, memory, mood, temperature regulation, cardiovascular function, muscle contraction, sexual behaviour, and endocrine regulation. Neuro Rest has included 5-HTP in its formula to increase the production of serotonin. Serotonin production goes down with age and leaves you with issues, such as anxiety, depressed mood, and insomnia. Depression and anxiety can always affect your sleep quality, which means that you may be able to sleep better if 5-HTP actually increases serotonin levels, but there is much more at play here.

Utmost Me Neuro Rest Facts

  • 60 capsules per bottle
  • Made in UK
  • Natural ingredients
  • Money-back guarantee

There is no enough research that regular intake of 5-HTP will lead to a significant rise in serotonin levels. Whatever scientific data you can find suggests that you need to take higher doses of 5-HTP and for about 6–12 weeks to see results. Ideally, you should be taking more than 200 mg of 5-HTP before bedtime to sleep quickly and deeply. The problem is that Neuro Rest provides you with only 90 mg of 5-HTP, which is certainly not enough. They do not include enough of 5-HTP, and it seems that they already know it because they have included 70 mg of L-tryptophan to trigger the production of 5-HTP in the body. Even then, you are not supposed to get enough benefits associated with 5-HTP by taking Neuro Rest.

Utmost Me Neuro Rest also contains Montmorency cherries to provide you with melatonin. The manufacturer believes that this helps increase melatonin levels, which in turn improve sleep duration and quality. You cannot find sufficient evidence to confirm the effectiveness of Montmorency cherries, especially in a supplement form. Some studies have shown that regular intake of tart Montmorency cherry juice (30 ml of juice in 200 ml of water) twice a day may help raise melatonin levels. That does not mean that taking a supplement that includes only 72 mg of Montmorency cherry extract will result in the same.

How to Take Utmost Me Neuro Rest

You get 60 capsules per bottle, and have to take 2 capsules a day about half an hour before going to sleep.

Grape skin included in Neuro Rest is supposed to provide you with melatonin, which in turn may help you sleep better at night. A study has shown that red grape skin extract contains resveratrol, which helps improves heart health and reduces stress by working as an antioxidant. However, some experts are still not convinced that grapes actually have melatonin. They even say that old studies have found a ‘close cousin of melatonin’ and not melatonin itself, and if that is really the case, you may not get enough benefits from the addition of grape skin extract to Neuro Rest.
In fact, a researcher who was part of the study conducted on the presence of melatonin in grape skin has made the following statement:

I would like to stress, as reported in the paper, that melatonin content in grape berry is very variable, depending on the varieties, and, possibly on the growing conditions.

It means that even if there is melatonin in grape skin, the amount depends on several factors, and since we have no information about the grape skin extract used in Neuro Rest, we just cannot say it really works to improve serotonin levels.

Magnesium contributes to a reduction of fatigue and helps relax your mind and muscles. The problem is that Neuro Rest contains supplements but does not have enough of it. Studies show that you have to take up to 420 mg of magnesium daily to see effects, but you only get 112 mg of magnesium from Neuro Rest. You can easily get much more than this from a regular magnesium supplement.

Another example of an under-dosed ingredient is L-Taurine. It is considered a natural energy booster, but it does not have stimulatory effects, which is why it may help you fall asleep quickly. Some studies show that it may actually help relieve symptoms of social anxiety and improve memory as well. However, you should be taking at least 500 mg of taurine to enjoy its effects, but you only get 10 mg of taurine from Neuro Rest, which is surely not going to cut it.

Utmost Me Neuro Rest Concerns:

  • Under-dosed ingredients
  • Very expensive
  • Conditions to get a refund

While some ingredients are under-dosed, there are some not directly related to sleep quality. Biotin is a good example. While it may help improve mood, it is not always necessary to take it in a supplement form. You can get it in foods like salmon, egg yolks, and leafy greens. There are a few studies suggesting that biotin may help strengthen nails, but may do nothing to improve quality of sleep. You can take it in supplement form and enjoy some benefits when you are very deficient in it. Even if you suppose that it works for better sleep, Neuro Rest does not provide you with a standard dose of biotin, which is 2,500 mcg.

Camomile is another example. A study showed that it does not work as many supplement companies claim.

One of the few reliable studies so far was done by Arendt et al. But even this is a preliminary, limited, pilot study. The study included 34 patients, half-received camomile in pills, half receiving a placebo. Through sleep diaries and self-reporting, effects were monitored for about one month. The trial found that there were no significant differences between the placebo group and the camomile group.

Without larger and longer studies, it cannot be said if camomile is completely effective, especially when it comes to producing sedative effects.

Overall, Neuro Rest is not nearly as effective as they claim to be, and that is mainly because the issue with their ingredient profile. We also believe that it is not an affordable supplement with each bottle costing you £29. They do have a money-back guarantee, but you have to meet several conditions to quality for a refund. Therefore, our suggestion would be to stay away from it!

What Does Utmost Me Neuro Rest Claim To Do?

Utmost Me Neuro Rest makes big claims about improving the quality of your sleep. They use several ingredients and claims to provide you with the following benefits:

  • It helps improve quality of sleep.
  • It helps increase duration of sleep.
  • It helps relax your mind and muscles.
  • It improves overall health.

Does Utmost Me Neuro Rest Work?

Utmost Me Neuro Rest is supposed to work by increasing the production of melatonin and serotonin. It tries to accomplish the task by providing you with 5-HTP, L-tryptophan, grape skin extract, and other ingredients. Unfortunately, there is not enough scientific data to confirm that the formula used in Neuro Rest actually works. In fact, many of the ingredients, such as grape skin extract, biotin, and even camomile may not directly help to resolve your sleep problems. Many ingredients are under-dosed as well. Considering its ingredient profile and customer reviews, we believe that you should avoid it and look for another supplement with scientifically proven ingredients.

What Are The Ingredients of Utmost Me Neuro Rest?

Neuro Rest uses a combination of ingredients to ensure that you sleep better throughout the night and wake up fresh. Unfortunately, they do not have enough of each ingredient, so it fails to deliver maximum results. Here is what they have included in this supplement.

  • 5-HTTP: It is supposed to increase the production of the neurotransmitter serotonin, which in turn helps you sleep better. You do not get enough of it through Neuro Rest.
  • Montmorency Cherries: It is included in the blend to regulate sleep duration by raising the levels of melatonin. There is not enough scientific data to confirm that they lead to a significant rise in melatonin levels.
  • Grape Skin Extract: A reason to include grape skin in the formula is that it is supposed to be a natural source of melatonin and may help improve sleep quality. Many experts believe that grape skin extract does not have this substance.
  • Watermelon: It is included to provide you with tryptophan required for 5-HTP regulation. While some studies show that watermelon may help relieve muscle soreness and improve skin quality, there is insufficient evidence to support its effectiveness for sleep disorders.
  • L-Tryptophan: The amino acid helps with the production of 5-HTP in the body. Unfortunately, there is no enough of L-tryptophan included in Neuro Rest.
  • Biotin: This B-vitamin may help boost your nervous system and improve your mood in return. You are likely to sleep better when you are in a good mood.
  • L-Taurine: This amino acid is included to leave a calming effect on your nervous system. Neuro Rest does not have enough of it.
  • Camomile: It is supposed to improve sleep by reducing anxiety. Studies show that camomile may not be as effective as many supplement companies claim.
  • Magnesium: It may help relax your mind and reduce fatigue, but you may notice results only when you are very deficient in magnesium.

Does Utmost Me Neuro Rest Have Any Side Effects?

There is no list of side effects available for Utmost Me Neuro Rest, but there are certain ingredients in this supplement that may not suit every individual.

Neuro Rest has magnesium and you may notice several side effects when you take this supplement but are not very deficient in this mineral. Some common side effects include vomiting, nausea, confusion, respiratory paralysis, slowed heart rate, and lowered blood pressure. Too much magnesium in your body can lead to a calcium deficiency, which can cause serious problems.

Neuro Rest contains 5-HTP, which is not considered safe for pregnant and nursing women. If you take it in excess, you may end up experience a number of side effects, including ear buzzing, absence of menstrual bleeding, agitation, aggressiveness, euphoria, fatigue, diarrhoea, and gastrointestinal symptoms.
You may also notice loose stools when taking a supplement that contains taurine. Your kidneys usually excrete excess amount of taurine, but sometimes, an underlying kidney problem can disrupt the process and result in serious consequences.

Similarly, camomile is usually safe, but some people may experience vomiting and drowsiness. It can also trigger an allergic reaction in some people – you should avoid it if you are allergic to daises, ragweed, chrysanthemums, or marigolds. Camomile supplements could interact with blood thinners, sedatives, aspirin, naproxen, and supplements like saw palmetto, garlic, and ginkgo biloba.

Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Utmost Me Neuro Rest?

It is not easy to find what users have to say about the product, but there are some reviews but even they do not have good things to say about the product.

I am using it regularly but have not seen any changes in my sleep quality.

I did not really work on me.

To be brutally honest, I take prescription tablets to help me get a decent night’s sleep & these don’t cut the mustard. I tried them to see whether they would help, but they proved useless.

Not quite sure if it is working, but everyone is different. It might just not be working with my metabolism.

Have Your Say

6 comments on 'Utmost Me Neuro Rest'

  1. I regained my sleep pattern with Neuro Rest, so was able to cease taking it.

However, having had some family and medical issues to deal with recently, I have had to use them again to get me back to a decent sleep pattern.

Again, I can highly recommend the product as only a couple of nights in and I’m back on track, using one capsule per night.

The only drawback is if you take them too late in the evening, you may feel quite sleepy in the morning for a short while.

I take mine about 8.30pm and that works just fine.

  2. I’ve used Neuro Rest for the last two nights and have to say how amazing it is. I’ve had two full nights sleep for the first time in years, while in my mind prior to taking, kind of thought ‘oh this won’t work either.

How wrong I was. So wrong in fact, I’ve had to reduce the recommended two capsules per night to one.

I have a long old list of auto immune conditions including Fibromyalgia, which gives me all over constant body pain which means sleep is incredibly hard.

I cannot rate this product highly enough and am very happy to shout it from the roof tops.

  3. Didn’t like this product at all. Gave me anxiety and palpitations which stopped when I stopped tablets. Also no refund or even response to 5 emails. Believe this company is nit what it appears to be.

    • Hi Eve,

      Thank you,
      Utmost Me

  4. Thank you for such an informative review. I am desperate to sleep as I have insomnia and bought this product in the hope that as it contained melatonin it would be just what I needed. I was interested in the comment that magnesium could help with sleep.
I was wondering whether you would be able to recommend a supplement that would be more effective?
