But does it? Does Vi-Brain Focus really live up to its claims of helping you concentrate and focus, or is it a complete waste of your money? Let’s take a closer look.
Vi-Brain Focus is manufactured by RCT Labs in the UK. It is a cognitive enhancement supplement that promised to help improve clarity, focus, and give consumers more mental energy, without the jitters or crashes that are often associated with some nootropics.
Vi-Brain Focus claims to have no side effects – in fact, ‘without the jitters and crashes’ is one of their claims, and none appear to have been reported. However, any product containing caffeine may affect people who have a low tolerance to caffeine, and Bacopa Monnieri can cause some people to suffer from increased bowel movements, stomach cramps, nausea, dry mouth, and fatigue. It is worth noting that the dosage of these ingredients is very low.
From the official Vi-Brain website, it is £28.49 for 60 capsules. This is a 30-day supply. However, if you join up to their Facebook messenger list, you can get a 15% discount off your order. Shipping is free.
If you buy the product from Amazon, it is slightly cheaper, costing £24.45 (and free shipping) for the same amount. There is also the option to subscribe to the product to again save 15%.
Initially, our thoughts on Vi-Brain Focus were really positive. The ingredients are all high quality and have been proven to be effective, there are no proprietary blends – the quantities of each ingredient are very clear, and there is nothing in here that is going to cause anyone any harmful side effects. So far, so good.
However, on further analysis of the ingredients, we realised this is a very average, and almost boring product. Sure, it might give you a bit of a boost, but there are supplements out there for the same price that are going to be a lot more effective. For starters, a lot of the ingredients are too underdosed to have any real effect. There needs to be a bit more of everything. It’s all well and good RCT Labs claiming that ‘it is sensible daily dose’ but when the dose just isn’t high enough to do what it needs to do, it’s more than a little bit pointless!
There are also some key nootropic ingredients missing from it. For example, other than tyrosine, which will help during periods of intense stress, there are no calming ingredients here – nothing to help you manage stress on a daily basis, such as ashwagandha. If nothing else, the dosage of tyrosine could be doubled and still be safe. There are also no antioxidant ingredients in there, which will help benefit cognitive function in the long term.
All in all, whilst Vi-Brain Focus certainly isn’t the worst product we’ve come across, it’s by far from being the best. We think there are much better products for you to spend your money on, and for that reason, we do not approve Vi-Brain Focus to our readers.

Vi-Brain Focus is a cognitive enhancing supplement made by RCT Labs. It is said to help consumers achieve better clarity and focus, more mental energy, and be a simple, all in one nootropic.
RCT Labs are a UK based company with their offices listed as being in London. It appears that they have been around since 2016, according to Companies House. No complaints or legal action appears to have been taken against them at any stage. Their website is clear and informative, although there is no information about the company itself. There is a pop up chat option available if customers want to talk to someone from the company. As well as the Focus supplement, they produce a small range of other nootropics.
The Vi-Brain website does not offer any information about the way that users need to take the supplement, other than stating that a serving is two capsules.
There is no guidance as to what time of day is most optimal for taking them.
The manufacturer of Vi-Brain Focus claims the product provides:
Whilst there is little doubt that some of the ingredients are helpful for improving focus, concentration, and mental energy, as the product claims to do, we think that many of the ingredients are underdosed to work particularly effectively. Not only that, it is missing a few key ingredients that could turn this product from something that is not very exciting or beneficial to something that really does have a positive effect. It may work for some people to an extent, but there are much better products out there on the nootropic market.
No side effects have been reported. However, as with all supplements containing caffeine, anyone with a low tolerance may experience some side effects such as insomnia and anxiety, and bacopa monnieri can cause some stomach issues such as increased bowel movements and stomach cramps in some consumers.

There are, at the time of writing this, 76 reviews of the product on Amazon. The majority are 4 or 5 star rated, with comments such as:
Vi-Brain is exactly what I was looking for, it gives me an immediate mental boost and after a few days of supplementation has improved my focus and allowed me to concentrate on my work for significantly longer periods.
Lee A, October 2017
However, comments suggesting the product did not work:
I have used an entire batch and have been taking them consistently everyday like clockwork. I am a student studying Mechanical Engineering and was hoping this would make me more focused when doing maths, Did NOTHING!! all it did is keep me up at night even though I have it between 9am-12pm.
Don’t recommend, but for some people it may be working so it is up to you if you would like to risk paying for nothing
